This morning, Max asked to eat some "hotmeal"( oatmeal). After breakfast, I got out the legos for the kids to play. Hailey did such a good job making a train. I had to take a picture of it. I thought she did a great job on the front of the train making it look just like an engine. She did it all by herself too. When Bruce got home from work, he asked Hailey if she wanted to go do something special. He gave her a few choices and she picked bowling. We got there at just the right time cause they put us in the private bowling room. It's a separate room with six lanes that you can rent for parties and stuff. It has couches by each lane so it's more comfortable, and it's also non smoking which was nice cause the other part can get pretty smokey sometimes. They put us in their cause there were a bunch of leagues tonight. Another family had rented half of the room for a birthday party, so they had the laser lights and music playing which the kids really liked. They put another family with young kids in there too so it was nice cause it was just families with young kids. So the kids could run around a little bit and dance without worrying about bothering anyone. The kids thought it was so neat when they saw their clothes glowing. Max loved the stars that were flashing all over the floors and walls. He kept pointing at them saying "Dat a twinkle twinkle little star." And they both loved dancing to the music. Max was dancing really cute kind of like a Jacob dance. (It's hard to explain but Kimmy will know what I'm talking about. He was rolling his arms while dancing around. I tried getting a video of it, but by the time I got out the camera he wasn't dancing the same.) He even got the lady sitting across from us to dance with him. I don't know how he gets all these ladies to dance with him all the time. He did that at the concert we went to a couple months ago. He just goes right up to them and starts dancing and then they start dancing with him. Hailey liked dancing on the wood floor and said it was just like her dance class floor. The first few turns, Daddy went up with Hailey while she bowled. But after seeing the little boy next to us that was about the same size as Hailey, she told Daddy to go away cause she could do it all by herself. And she bowled by herself the rest of the night. After bowling the first game, we went and got snacks. Hailey and Max loved their lemonaid. And they both picked some candy out of the candy machine. Hailey picked Skittles and Max picked a Twix bar. Max let Hailey try his candy bar, so she asked if she could give him one of hers. I told her she could give him one at a time. It was the first time he's had any really chewey candy and he thought it was bubble gum. Everytime he would chew one and then try to blow bubbles with it. And he looked so goofy while he was doing it cause he would keep sticking his tongue out. Hailey was very careful about giving him only one at a time too. Whenever he asked for more, she would tell him to open his mouth and check to make sure he was done chewing the last one. Bruce bowled for the kids while they were eating their snacks. They did good though bowling one full game and part of the last one, and Max even bowled his own game this time instead of just bowling on ours once in a while. They both sure love to bowl though. On the way home, Max kept saying "I wanna play bowlin ball again." When we got home, Hailey asked if she could call Grandma Brenda and Papa Dan. So Bruce dialed the number for her and she called and talked to them. Max heard her talking and said "I wanna talk to Gamma Benda. I wanna talk to Papa Dan too." So Hailey gave him the phone and let him talk for a little bit after she was done. She told them all about bowling and then told them about daddy working on the kitchen. She said that the kitchen was almost done but he just needed to put up the trim. We were suprised she even knew that. She pays attention to everything. When we were getting her ready for bed and she was telling us about her day, she told us about how much fun she had bowling and said "And there was lights shining and a huge hugemongous TV." Then she said to me "Mommy why did you give me lots candy. You gave me too much candy. Will I get cavities now?" She is always so worried about her teeth. She will never let us forget about brushing her teeth before bed. And if she falls asleep in the car and we put her in bed, she will come to our room at 3:00 in the morning waking us up to tell us she forgot to brush her teeth and then we have to get up and get her toothbrush for her so she will go back to sleep.

WOW, nice train Hailey. Great job on the engine. I love you.
The train is wonderful. Can't believe she designed it and built it herself. Great job, Hailey.
It's so colorful in the picture. I'm glad you took a picture for us to see. Love ya! xoxoxox
