Went to some more garage sales this morning. It was raining and the kids had fun carrying around their umbrellas. We went and got donuts, and then went to the store for some groceries. After that, we came home and put Max down for a nap. Daddy played dollhouse with Hailey before he had to leave for work. I rested on the couch while they played. When Max woke up, we got ready and went to Nana's house for sloppy joes before going to dance class. Nana and Kenzie came with us to dance class. Hailey did so good again today. She ran right in and started dancing right away. Usually she waits a little while before she starts dancing, and the teacher needs to come stand by her for a while to get her started. But today she started all on her own and danced the whole time. I think having the DVD for her to watch and practice at home really helped. She was all excited when she came out. Before class, she said "I'm going to dance 30." And when she came out she said "I danced more than thirty!" When we got back to Nana's house, the kids played outside. Hailey and Kenzie had fun on the swings and Max had fun riding the car around the yard. He really loves to ride through the wood chip pile. Then Kenzie found a giant frog. IT WAS HUGE! It was the biggest frog we've ever seen. My mom and I didn't even know frogs could get that big. He was bigger than my hand and jumped really far. We tried to catch it but it kept getting away. It was funny cause my mom, Kenzie, and I were all chasing this big frog through the woods trying to catch it. We had it cornered and it just hopped right over the buckets and our arms. It was so fast. It ended up getting away and we couldn't find it. My mom took some pictures of it, even though the pictures don't really show it's size too well. We ended up staying until after 9:00, so Max was up way past his bedtime again. Poor boy. His sleep schedule has been messed up all week.

We got ready right away this morning to go to some garage sales. Before we left, Hailey got her wallet cause she wanted to have some money to spend at the garage sales. Then she took out a few coins for Max and told me to bring them for him so he could get a toy too. She said "Cause it wouldn't be fair if I got a toy and Max didn't." Max has been very independent all day and wants to do everything "all by me self". Everytime we got in the van, he would want to climb in and get in his carseat by himself. Went to Taco Bell for lunch. Bruce stayed with the kids while I went to my doctors appointment. The baby is measuring small again, so they put me on the monitor today and also scheduled another ultrasound in a couple weeks. The doctor said that the heart rate looked good but still wants to start monitoring the baby at all my appointments until delivery. I sure don't feel that small. When I look back at my cards from Hailey and Max, I am measuring in between the two of them. So I don't know why she is so concerned about it. I guess it's because the baby's growth has slowed down from how I was measuring earlier in my pregnancy. This evening, Hailey got out her wallet so she could count it and put some of her change in her bank. I gave Max his wallet too and some coins to put in it. They both enjoyed sitting at the table counting their money. Max also loved putting his dollar that he got from Papa in it and taking it back out over and over again. As Hailey was counting her coins, she counted all the way to 64, only needing my help with the numbers 40 and 60.

Hailey woke up at 6:30 this morning. When she came to our room she said "I checked on Max but he is still sleeping. He looks so cute." She cuddled in bed with us but kept asking if it was time to get up every few minutes. I was very tired cause I didn't sleep well last night. I didn't want to get out of bed yet, so around 7:30, I let her sit in our room and play with her Barbie dolls. I helped her dress them and stuff while laying in bed. Max woke up at 8:00, and Hailey got excited when she heard him and ran in to go see him. While Max was taking his nap today, I told Hailey she had to lay down and rest too. I was reading a book and she asked me if she could cuddle on my lap for a little bit before she layed down. She got her blankie and crawled up on my lap, and we both ended up falling asleep in the chair. We slept for about an hour and then went outside to play. Max took a long nap and I ended up waking him up at 5:00. I brought him outside to play with us and pushed the kids on the swings. Bruce and I decided to go out for dinner and called my mom to see if she wanted to watch the kids. When we told them it was time to leave, Max didn't want to get out of the swing. Then I asked him if he wanted to go see Nana and Papa, and he held his arms out for me to get him and wanted to get in the van right away. They were so excited to get to go to Nana and Papa's house. Bruce and I went out to eat and then to the mall to drop off Bruce's ring to get fixed. Last week, Bruce was doing some electrical stuff in the utility room and he should've shut off the electricity. He ended up melting his ring on an open electrical cercuit. His finger also got burned where his ring was and it blistered. When he handed it to the lady to show her, she couldn't believe it and was suprised it didn't knock him unconscious. They sent it in to get fixed but she isn't sure they will be able too. It's melted pretty bad in two spots. We walked around the mall and then headed back to pick up the kids. They were all laying on the floor watching a movie when we got there. We stayed and visited for a little while and then took the kids home to get them to bed.

Jacob showing us how old he is

Max and Hailey slept in till 9:00 again this morning. They were both in great moods which suprised me with how late they were up last night. I got some cleaning done around the house while they played together. We ate lunch a little early and I put Max down for an early nap. I figured he probably wouldn't fall asleep but thought it would do him good to at least have a little rest. I could hear him talking and singing the whole time. He layed in his bed for an hour before I went in to get him right before it was time to leave. When I went in his room, I found him soaked from head to toe cause he had taken off his pullup and peed all over. So I had to get him cleaned up and changed before we could leave which made us a little late for the party. Jacob was so excited about his party and couldn't stop smiling. Bruce came after he got out of work and made it just on time to see Jacob open his gifts. Jacob was very excited to get a camera, and whenever he went to take a picture he would put the strap around his wrist just like Kimmy always does. Shortly after he opened his gifts, Aunt Tina and Angel and her girls showed up. Nana played a game of tossing bean bags into hoops with the kids. Then the kids wanted to watch Kenzie fish in the pond, so I put one of those kid leashes on Max so that I could hang on to him by the water. I get nervous when he gets so close and leans forward to throw sticks in the water. As he was walking, he kept turning around to look at me holding the leash and said "Mommy, are you pollowin (following) me?" He asked me that a few times as we were walking along the water. Then he said "I just wike a doggie, you pollowin me." Kenzie caught a fish, but Max was the only one that would touch it. Hailey and Jacob kept their distance and just wanted to look at it. Max was getting very tired and asking for his blankie so Kimmy put him in the stroller and pushed him around for a little while and he ended up falling asleep. He slept for a couple hours. I was glad he got a good nap because we didn't end up getting home until after his bedtime so he was up late again.

Bruce's car broke down on the way to work, so he had to walk back home and get the van. And since he had the van, the kids and I were stuck home and couldn't make it to church today. The kids both slept past 9:00 this morning. I had already woke up at 8:00 when Bruce came back to get the van so I just stayed up and got some laundry done. After lunch, I took the kids outside to play for a couple hours. I watered the flowers and the kids had fun running through the mist from the hose. When Bruce got home from work, we went to Grandpa's house. I took the kids inside the house to play while Bruce helped Grandpa with some mowing. Then the kids had fun running around in the back yard while Bruce worked in the garden. We went out to eat for dinner. When we got home, we took a walk around the block. Max and Hailey both wanted to ride their bikes. Max sure gets going fast on his tricycle now, pushing with his tiptoes instead of using the pedals. He did finally start pedaling a little bit today. He was really watching Hailey on her bike and then he tried it. He only would get a few feet forward before he would start to pedal backwards, and then he would get fustrated. He still much prefers to just use his tiptoes. He only tried to pedal a few times, and only when it's his own idea. He will never do it if we ask him to. At about 9:00, we left to go meet my parents, sisters, Aunt Tina, and my cousin Angel and her two girls to get icecream. We knew the kids would be up way past their bedtime but my aunt and cousin live out of state and we hardly ever get to see them. We had a nice visit and all the kids had a great time together too.

Right when Hailey woke up this morning, she asked if we could get ready for the wedding (my cousin, Shani's wedding). Then she ran to her closet and picked out the dress she wanted to wear. She's been so excited about it all week and counting the days. The wedding was nice, and all my aunts and uncles from my dad's side of the family was there. Some of them we haven't seen in 10 years. It was nice getting to see everybody again. The reception was at the same hall that my parents had theirs 35 yearas ago. We got to the reception early, and Max and Adam were very tired. Kimmy walked Max around and he fell asleep for her, and Adam fell asleep while I was walking him around. They both took a short nap but woke up when it started getting noisy. After we got our food, Hailey tucked a napkin in Max's shirt cause she noticed we didn't bring a bib. She acts like such a little mommy to him sometimes. She also got a napkin and wiped his mouth a couple times while he was eating. The kids all loved dancing. It was fun watching them. We stayed till almost 10:00 and Hailey still didn't want to leave because she was having so much fun dancing. Max was so tired, but amazingly still stayed awake for the drive home. He hardly ever falls asleep in the car. He just doesn't want to miss anything, and notices every truck or tractor on the way.
