It hit 60 degrees out today and rained most of the day. It even thundered a few times. We went to Salvation Army this morning. Hailey found a doll bathtub that she really wanted for her babies so she got that and Max got some nice wooden puzzles. Then we got donuts on our way to Menards. I took the kids to play in the play area while Bruce looked around. There was a couple other kids there playing but no parents in sight. They were not acting very nice throwing things at each other and stuff. Hailey and Max were in the play house and the little boy started hitting the door with one of those big balls with a handle that you sit on and bounce. Max looked out the window and yelled at him saying "Don't hit it a door" in a very loud voice. The boy stopped for a little bit, but when Max came out he hit him in the head with it. Max started crying and came running up to me saying "He hit me a head". I held him for a while. The bigger sister started picking on her brother and he started crying but still no parents in sight. The kids were only 6 and 2 years old. She told her little brother to stay there and went looking for her mom. She finally saw her and I could hear her yelling "Mom, why are you way over there?" The mom came back to check on them and then left to go do more shopping telling the girl to watch her brother. Another mom brought her little girl to play and she thought those kids were mine too at first. I was glad when the little girl told her that she just had one brother. I certainly didn't want her thinking those kids were mine. She acted suprised that they were all alone too. The other little girl was very nice and played with Hailey a little bit. Then the other kids started getting rough with each other and the toys so we decided it was time to leave. We had been there at least a half an hour and those kids were there before we showed up. We passed the mom while we were walking through the store and she had a cart full of stuff but no kids with her still. Then we went to Grandpa's to visit. He was happy to see us. Max ran up to Grandpa in the chair and said hi and then headed right for the toys. He loves playing with the trucks and cars and always grabs the same ones. Bruce tried to put the cabin on his tractor but couldn't because it was the wrong one. Max didn't get a nap today. He just fell asleep for about 10 minutes on the way home. He started getting pretty grumpy around 7:00 so I started his bedtime routine a little early and just went a little slower, reading a few extra books. He was happy cuddling in the rocking chair and reading books until his bedtime.

What a bummer that they sent the wrong snow cab for Grandpa's tractor. Are they shipping the correct one?

Bruce said he needs to talk to you about that. He said he doesn't know if they made a mistake and sent the wrong one or if we ordered the wrong one. I'll just let him explain it to you instead.
