We decided to try putting batteries in the camera one more time, and I couldn't believe it but it worked. I was so happy. We don't know what was wrong with it, but we are glad it's working now. We were going to go look at cameras today, but since it started working we aren't in such a hurry to get another one even though we still want to get a different one soon. But now we can take our time looking and deciding what one to get. This morning, Bruce took the kids outside to play in the snow. They had fun helping him shovel and then getting pulled in the sled. They went over and played with the neighbors dog, Nova, while daddy was shoveling the front sidewalk. Max also loves to get out his car and ride it even with his snowsuit and everything on. He still gets going super fast too. We went to visit Wes and Gayla after lunch. Hailey remembered when they watched them. She told us all about the good time she remembered having with them, going to the church down the road to play on Noah's ark, eating icecream, and playing with the toys. Hailey and Max both yelled "Hurray" as we pulled in their driveway. Wes asked Max if he wanted to go with him to get the bucket of toys out, and Max went right over taking his hand. Hailey was pretty quiet at first, but soon started playing and having lots of fun. We all sat at the table in the sunroom and ate some yummy treats that Gayla had made. Max really loved his brownie and kept wanting more bites. When he was done eating, Max got down from his chair and ran over to sit on Wes' lap. We had a nice visit with them, and the kids had fun playing with the toys, reading books, and riding the rocking horse. Hailey saw the keyboard and asked to play it. Gayla turned it on for her and they played that for a while. Max was really excited when Wes got out a tractor for him to push around. He pushed it all around the room until it was time to leave. It was 4:00 when we got home, so I quick got Max down for his nap. Then Bruce, Hailey, and I all layed down and fell asleep too. I was suprised when I woke up and saw it was 6:00. I wasn't planning on falling asleep. I just wanted to lay down and rest for a few minutes. I woke up Hailey right away cause I know she has a really hard time falling asleep at night when she takes a nap that late. Bruce gave the kids a bath after dinner, while I worked on laundry and cleaning up Max's bedroom. Max still went to bed really good even though he had such a late nap. We let Hailey stay up a little later than usual, but she still had a harder time falling asleep tonight. She came out a couple times saying she couldn't get to sleep. I thought she was finally asleep cause it's been awhile since she has come out, but she just came out again. So I guess I should go walk her back to her room and get her back to bed.
