I was feeling pretty good this morning, so we got ready and went to the camera shop in the mall to look at some digital cameras. We let the kids play in the little play area after we were done looking. I gave them each a couple quarters to ride the rides. (Hailey now knows that you can make the rides more fun by putting money into them. She saw another kid riding them last time and didn't forget.) Hailey found a dime on the floor. She picked it up and then gave it to me saying "Here mommy, you can have it for your purse. Then you will have more money when you go to the store and you can buy some shirts or something." We got some lunch at the food court before we left. Then we decided to go sledding and stopped at home quick to get our snowsuits and stuff. Max was tired cause it was his naptime, so he went right to his room when we got home asking to go night night. Bruce went to get him telling him he could sleep in the van, and he said "I wanna go night night right here, Daddy" reaching up to his crib. Max and Hailey were really excited when we got there and got the sleds out. First we all went down together on the big sled. Then Bruce and I took turns taking each kid down with us seeing who could go the furthest. They loved going down the hill. They screamed and laughed the whole way down. Then we let Hailey go down a few times by herself which she loved, and she even took Max down with her a couple times. Another little girl was there sledding with her mom, and she came over and asked if she could sled with us. It was funny cause we had lined up all our sleds and she said "I'll just go down with you guys." Then she got on the sled with Hailey and I, leaving her mom standing at the top of the hill. She went down with us everytime taking turns going with Hailey and Max. Her mom said that she is an only child and loves the chance to play with other kids. Hailey sure had fun sledding with her. After we were done sledding, we went to Salvation Army and Goodwill. Then we stopped at my parents house on the way home. We visited for a while. Hailey asked if she could watch some videos of mommy when she was a baby. Nana found some and put it in for her. She loved seeing me as a baby. My mom and dad had to leave, so we watched a little bit of it and then took the video home so we could finish it. Right away when we got home, Hailey got out the video to finish watching it. Hailey and I sat on the couch watching it while Bruce got dinner ready. Hailey thought some parts were so funny. She was laughing so hard. Max was so hyper running back and forth, taking my slippers off and laughing as he ran off with them. We ate dinner and got Max ready for bed. He didn't have a nap today, other than a few minutes in the van so he was really tired. We let Hailey stay up and watch the rest of the video with us. We don't usually let her watch any TV before bed, so she said "Tonight is a special night, isn't it Mommy."
