Since Bruce took Max with him yesterday, he took Hailey with him today when he went to the Salvation Army and some other stores. He also took her to get donuts. She was excited to get to go with daddy. Max and I spent some time together while they were gone. We played with cars and tractors, and then I got out his puzzles and we put those together. He loves puzzles, expecially the tractor ones. He takes each piece and pushes it along the floor before putting it in it's place. He also makes the airplanes fly, and he makes a siron sound for the firetruck. Bruce and Hailey came back with a big blowup thing to jump in that they found at Salvation Army. She was so excited to show me what they got. Burce blew it up for them right away. We found a hole in it so he patched it up quick. The kids had tons of fun jumping in it. Then Hailey filled it up with blankets pretending it was their tent. She layed down in it and played songs from her MP3 player toy. It started losing air though, and we had to keep blowing it up every 15 to 20 minutes. The hole was just in a bad spot that was impossible to fix. But we still kept it up most of the day so the kids could play with it even though we will be returning it tomorrow. Too bad cause it wouldn't have been a great thing to set up every once in a while for the kids to play in. Jacob sure would have loved it too. Oh well, at least they had fun with it for one day. Hailey got out her purse and sat on the couch with it. Then Max crawled up and sat right in front of her looking in her purse with her. She showed him some things she had in her purse. Then she got out some of the chapsticks and asked him if he wanted some lipstick. She put some on him and herself and then showed him how to smack his lips. Then they would both say "Ooh". She kept getting out different flavored chapsticks, asking him if he wanted try another color. Everytime they would both smack their lips and say "Ooh". It was so funny. While the kids were eating their snack this evening, Max had his tractor at the table so he started putting his star puffs in his tractor. When Hailey saw him doing that, she said "That's what Jacob likes to do." Then Hailey ran to get a truck, and they both kept filling them up and eating out of them. Hailey got out her felt book to play with while I got Max ready for bed. She loved trying to make some of the different animals and things with all the felt pieces. Max saw it and really wanted to do it too, so I let him stay up for a few minutes longer. He really liked putting on the pieces too, and he was naming some of the colors as he put them on. Hailey played with it while I put Max to bed, and then I sat down and played with it too. We did some on each page, and then made up some of our own silly faces. It's a neat little book and comes with tons of pieces. Hailey didn't even want to stop playing with it when it was time for her to go to bed.

Too bad that thing had a bad leak. I love Max's smile while he's inside it. Cute picture of Hailey showing Max the things in her purse.
Oh, and I love the picture of Max with his tractor (close up) and the last one of Hailey with her felt book.
