Without even planning it, Hailey and Nana
matched at church last Sunday.

My mom brought Max home after they went to their breakfast meeting this morning. Then she picked up Hailey and took her bowling as a reward for staying in her dance class by herself. Kimmy met them so Jacob could go bowling with her. All week Hailey has been so excited about going bowling. She kept saying that Jacob is her favorite friend and she will teach him how to bowl. When they got there, Hailey and Jacob held hands saying "Yeh". As they saw the ball rolling slowly toward the pins, they would both clap their hands and yell "Go ball go!" And everytime they knocked down some pins they would jump and clap. Then they each picked a treat out of the candy machine and also got some lemonaid, their favorite thing to drink. They had so much fun. I had a doctors appointment, so we took Max with us to that. When we rode the elevator, Max thought it was so much fun. It was pretty crowded in the elevator, so Bruce stepped aside to let people get off on the next floor. He was holding Max, and everytime someone one passed by them, Max would say thankyou. He said it to three or four different people. Everybody thought he was so polite and cute, and some of them started talking to him on our way up to the next floor. Max liked the attention and was smiling and talking to them too. He kept telling them, " I ride" and " Wee and Whoa!" as he felt the elevator move. Then when it stopped he told a couple more people thankyou. I think he was thanking them for the ride. While we were in the waiting room, he kept passing out his four cars that he had brought with him. He gave one to me, one to daddy, and one to a man sitting close to us. He even got the man to play cars with him a little bit. He sure is friendly and not shy at all. Sometimes it can be a little embarrassing because he'll go up to complete strangers and hug their leg or lean on them. Some people are really nice about it, and some you can tell it makes them uncomfortable. Jacob is the same way so Kimmy knows what I mean. Anyway, my doctors appointment went well. I got the stitches out in the front but since my back was just reopened they'll leave those ones in for another week. My mom brought Hailey back when she came to stay when Bruce left for work. She took videos of Hailey and Jacob bowling , so we watched that. My mom had to teach at All Stars, a Wednesday night activity for kids at church, so my dad came over to help when she had to leave. The kids had fun dancing and also riding on Papa's leg. We watched the video of Hailey's dance class, and Hailey showed Papa the dance steps. Max was trying to dance like they were in the video too. He actually does pretty good trying to copy everything they do in the video. Then they climbed up on Papa's legs to get rides bouncing up and down. We all had popsicles for a treat again. The kids played some more and then we got them ready for bed. Papa read the kids their bedtime stories and Bibles. We got Max in bed by 8:00 and Hailey in bed by 8:30, and they both fell asleep within minutes. They were so tired. My dad went home after we got the kids in bed. Now I am just waiting for Bruce to get home from work.

I like the pictures. I'm glad dad could come help with Hailey and Max while I taught All Stars. I bet he had as much fun as they did!
Glad you're stitches in front are out now. So good to see you getting better each day. Max was so good at our house last night and this morning. Couldn't have acted better. Hailey was such a good girl when we went bowling. So much fun to watch her and Jacob bowl. I loved it!

The Michigan sisters have some very happy children and the whole world...well, the Michigan world notices. You must be doing a whole bunch of things right. Keep on getting well. You have a host of family members that you can depend on so it seems that you are doing that. Good girl!

The kids sure do love when Dad reads to them. Loved hearing about Max in the elevator.
