Max woke up early at 7:15 this morning. I brought him back to bed with me hoping he would fall back to sleep. He layed with me till 8:00 but wouldn't go back to sleep. Right when he got up, he ran to Hailey's room and climbed up on her bed to wake her up. After we ate breakfast, I played dolls with Hailey. Then she wanted me to pretend she was at school and I was her teacher. When I told her to write her name on her paper, She said "But pretend my name don't have a H. Pretend my name is Lolly, and my last name will be Pop". She was so serious. I thought it was so funny though. Then she asked me how to spell it so she could write it on her paper. I worked on catching up on laundry while Max was taking his nap. When Max woke up, I took the kids outside to play. It was so nice out today. I got their bikes out and let the kids ride up and down the sidewalk. They rode back and forth between the two roads for quite a while. They would ride down to one road, turn around and go right past our house riding down to the next road. Hailey decided to walk with me after a couple times, but Max just wanted to keep on riding his car. Hailey picked up leaves and pine cones along the sidewalk. Max would stop his car and pick up a few along the way too. Then he would throw them back down and keep on riding. Bruce came home just as we walked to the backyard to play on the swings. We carved the pumkins after the kids were done swinging. The kids loved helping. They didn't want to touch the pumkin guts, so they used spoons to help scoop it out. They were very serious while watching daddy carve the pumkins. Hailey helped show daddy how she wanted hers to look. They both kept putting the pieces back in and pushing them through to see them drop inside the pumkin. We also did our turkey pumkin. Hailey lined up all the feathers how she wanted them to go. When it got dark out, we took the kids outside to light the pumkins. They both kept peeking inside to see the candles. Everytime Max would look in he would say "Wow". Then they ran around the front yard chasing daddy. They thought it was so neat playing outside in the dark. They were both laughing so hard. Max was so tired when we came in the house, he was begging to go to bed.
