This morning, Hailey woke up at about 6:00 and crawled in bed with me while Bruce was getting ready for work. She fell back asleep and both kids slept till about 8:30. Max didn't wake up at all last night. They are both still coughing, but it's getting alot better. Shortly after Bruce got home from work this afternoon, his parents and his little sister came to visit. Hailey was so excited to see grandma and papa. All day she kept asking when they would be here. We opened the front door so the kids could see when they pulled in the driveway. When they saw their car they both screamed. Max was copying Hailey saying "gramma, papa". They were so excited. They gave Hailey and Max each a bucket of treats for Halloween. They each got a pumkin flashlight in their buckets that they loved shining around the house. And of course, they both started eating the candy right away too. Then Hailey took grandma to see her room. This was the first time they've seen the house since we added the third bedroom. We had to leave to take Hailey to her dance class, so they went to the hotel to unpack. We stopped at my mom's first to pick up Kimmy. While we were waiting for her, Nana and Papa came out to see the kids. It's been a while since they got to see them since they've been sick. Nana gave us a bag with treats in it for us all to have after her dance class. Hailey has been doing so good going into her class for Kimmy, so she offered to take her in until she gets more comfortable in her class. I think if Bruce or I took her in she would still try to hang onto us and throw a fit. Today, I just stayed out in the waiting area while Kimmy took her back. She started crying at first, but stopped as soon as the teacher came over and talked to her. Then she did so well. She danced the whole time. It was fun watching her through the little crack in the shade. At the end of class, the teacher passed out a little treat bags to all the kids. Hailey was so excited when she came out of her class. She told us what she did and showed us her bag of treats. Wow, they sure got alot of treats today! Then after taking Kimmy back to her car at my mom's house, we met Bruce's parents at a restaurant. Max still won't eat hardly anything. He took a couple bites and then he was done. After we were done eating, we went to the hotel to go swimming. Hailey and Max loved the water. At first, they just hung out on the steps, but it didn't take long for them to get used to the water. Hailey could even touch the bottom standing on her tiptoes. She would take daddy's hand and walk a little bit. They had so much fun playing in the water with grandma, papa, and Aunt Jessie. We stayed at the hotel and visited for a little while after swimming. We didn't get home till after 10:00. The kids fell asleep right away when we got them into bed.
