Both of the kids woke up early today. Max woke up first a little before 7:00, so Bruce brought him in bed with us. Hailey came crawling in bed with us a few minutes later. They cuddled for a little bit until Max heard the garbage truck and got all excited. He sat up and said "Garbage truck dump. Garbage truck green." Then while he was sitting on the bed by me, he told me to "Watch out" cause I was laying on his blankey and he wanted me to move. He sure is talking alot lately. He'll try to say anything we ask him to and he's been putting words together making short sentences. I wanted to give Champ a bath today, so Bruce helped me cause I can't really lean over the tub too much. The kids wanted to help too, so we let them rub the shampoo in. It was kind of funny cause the whole family was giving Champ a bath. We were all crowded around the tub trying to squeeze in to help. Champ always runs around the house like a puppy when he gets out of the tub. He likes to roll around on the floor while he's still wet too. Max thought that was funny, and he also liked feeling his wet hair. I put both kids down for naps this afternoon since they got up so early. My mom came over to help out again. She brought us milkshakes, and they were so good. My mom and I did laundry and cleaned up the house a little bit. The laundry was really starting to pile up so it felt good to get caught up on it. Hailey and Mykenzie had fun playing dress up. Max mostly played with his cars the whole time. While we got Max ready for bed, Mykenzie did her homework. Hailey wanted to do some "homework" too, so I let her do a worksheet out of her preschool workbook. My mom and Mykenzie left after getting Max in bed. I put Hailey to bed after she was done doing her worksheet. She went to bed pretty good for me, but she's still laying there awake. She always has such a hard time falling asleep if she takes a nap. But she was getting so grumpy by lunchtime cause she got up so early, I had to put her down for a nap today. Oh well, at least she is staying in her bed.

I always loved watching Champ after he got done with his bath. Kate's just as goofy after her bath - rubbing on everything. I wish I was there with my camera to take a picture of all four of you giving little Champ a bath.
Pepper does the same thing after her bath too. she'll run around the house like a psyco puppy. Always have to put the gate up so she doesn't run into the bedroom and jump up on the bed getting everything wet!
Well, I guess Champ isn't the only crazy dog out there. That's so funny. I was thinking the same thing, Kimmy. I wanted to take a picture but wouldn't be able to get all of us in it. It would have been a good picture though.
