Hailey slept better last night. She still woke up every couple of hours, but that's alot better than waking every fifteen minutes. She just had a low grade fever when she woke up this morning, and she was feeling much better. She's been playing all day and eating much better too. I had a doctors appointment this morning, so my mom came over to pick up Max. She took him with her to take grandpa's dog to the vet. We took Hailey with us to my appointment. He took the stitches out of my back, and said it'll take a couple of weeks for the swelling to go down. It's still pretty sore, but he said that it'll feel much better once the swelling goes down. After my appointment, we went to my mom's house to pick up Max. We stayed and visited for a while and ate chili. They are having a couple big trees cut down in their yard, and Max loved watching the tractors out the window. We went outside to see the big stumps. They are huge. Hailey and Max loved climbing on them. We couldn't stay too long though cause Bruce had to get home to bed. He is still working midnights. It was a really nice day, so I took the kids outside to play this evening. They played on the swings, in the sandbox, and rode their bikes and cars around the back porch. Then Hailey wanted to ride her "motorcycle". Her and Max took turns driving it around. My dad came over while we were playing outside. He showed me his ankle, and it is so swollen. It looks really bad, but he said it's getting much better. He tipped over on his motorcycle when going up a sandy hill. He hurt his ankle, knee, and hip. But he can walk on it so he says it must not be broken. I still think it looks terrible. Max and Hailey had fun showing Papa how they drive the "motorcycle". Then I showed him the bike helmet that I found for Max at a garage sale this summer. It's black with orange flames and it says Harley Davison on it. Max put it on and papa loved it. Hailey went to bed really good tonight, and fell asleep fast. Hopefully we will all get a good nights sleep tonight.

I agree, Dad needs to have that looked at. Glad you were able to get your stitches out.
