Abby went for a ride too. There was a perfect little spot for her to ride in the back.

Once we closed the top so she couldn't jump out, she found a little spot to poke her nose out. She ended up falling asleep like this.

Hailey had fun playing with the firehat that she got at school today.

Notice the neighbor girl climbing the fence in the background. This is what she does just about anytime she sees us outside playing.

Abby found this stick and started running with it. I couldn't believe she could carry it. It's such a big stick for a tiny little puppy.

Hailey posing for the camera.

Bruce dropped Hailey off at school and then took Max with him to the store. Jack and I enjoyed some time playing and then reading books together. He really loves those Touch and Feel books. And the ones that have dogs and kittens in them are his favorite. After reading a bunch of books, it was time for Jack to go down for his morning nap. It was a beautiful day, warm and sunny. When Daddy and Max got back it was time to pick Hailey up from school. Daddy decided to ride his bike to pick her up. She loves when he comes with the bike. I took Max outside to play. He kept picking me flowers. He'd bring them to me saying "Surprise!" He sure was excited giving them to me. He told me to go put them in the house. He liked that I lined them up on the windowsill. He picked me lots of them. He was so fast. I'd quick go in to put them on the windowsill and he'd be coming in the door with more for me, saying "Surprise!" every single time. I brought Abby out and she too started picking flowers for me. She would pick them and then run with it in her mouth bringing it to me like she was copying Max. When daddy and Hailey got back, Max asked for a turn riding on daddy's bike. We decided to all go for a bike ride. We put Jack in the bikeseat and Hailey and Max in the bike trailer. We also put Abby in the back of the bike trailer. There was a perfect little spot back there for her and it closed so she couldn't jump out. She layed right down and ended up falling asleep. Jack sure loved when daddy rode faster and when he would swerve from side to side. He would clap and say "Aaaeee". We rode our bikes past the fire station. then we noticed the smashed cars in the back so we rode up close to those. Max loved seeing the "bwoke cars". He talked alot about them and especially liked telling us about the "bwoke wheels". Hailey told us all about the firetruck coming to school today. She was excited to tell us that she got to sit in the driver's seat and "drive" it and that she got to squirt the hose. She also told us that he showed them the tools on the truck and that he showed them the hose on the top of the firetruck and squirt the grass with it.When we got back, we got all the stuff out that we had stored away for winter - the slides, porch swing, kids picnic table, etc. We made hot dogs for lunch and ate outside. The neighbor kids came over to play. Around 3:00, we headed back inside. Daddy had to leave for work, and I put Max and Jack down for a late nap. When they woke up, we ate dinner and then went back outside to play until bedtime. I got some laundry done while they were playing on the porch. I would leave the door open and start a load while watching them through the window. Then I would come back out to play until the next load was ready to go in the dryer. Abby found a stick and had fun playing fetch with it. It was a pretty big stick for such a small dog. The kids and the puppy picked me a bunch more flowers. Abby's chin was very yellow. Jack really liked playing in the little playhouse. He liked the little slide and crawling through the door. He also liked sitting on the little ride-on car. We dumped some pails of water on the patio. Hailey and Max had fun running barefoot on the wet pavement and then making footprints. Around 7:30, we came in for baths and then started bedtime routines.
