May 22, 2009

This morning, we all headed to the park. It was Hailey's last day of preschool and they invited the families to join them at the park. Hailey wanted to try climbing the rock wall all by herself. She was very excited and proud of herself when she made it all the way to the top. Jack loved playing music on th ese chimes. Jack playing with his little friend, Tyler. I thought it was cute when Ally and Luke got on to ride this together. Then we decided to put the babies on with them. Snack time! The kids all loved the long catipillar rice krispy treat that Ben had brought for his birthday treat. They all squeezed in at the picnic table to eat it. Max enjoyed his rice krispy treat and chocolate milk. Hailey's preschool class. They are listening to the teacher as she told them she had a special book for all of them. She made each of them a preschool memory book, telling all the special things they did together that year. There was a page for each feild trip or special day, explaining the things they saw and did. And then she would always ask the kids what their favorite part was and wrote down what they said. So on each page, it tells what each kid liked best about that day or trip. The book also included some of the pictures they colored and then a note from the teacher on the last page with a picture of her in the corner. It's such a nice keepsake book, and you can tell she put alot of time into each one. Tired boy! He was awake when I put him in the carseat, and by the time we got Hailey and Max buckled in theirs, he was sound asleep. I couldn't believe how fast he fell asleep. After the park, we headed over to Grandpa's house to visit. My sisters were there visiting also. My parents left today for a trip to Washington D.C. on their motorcycles. We all had a nice visit with Grandpa and he enjoyed the company. After that we all headed over to my parents' house so the kids could watch Kenzie get off the bus. They all had alot of fun playing outside together. Jack ended up falling asleep again, in the swing this time. Bruce and I worked on cleaning the house and then finished packing the rest of the stuff for our camping trip. We took the kids over to the neighbors house after lunch while I had therapy. Bruce had to leave for work when we got back. Someone was coming to look at the house, so I took the kids and went to grandpa's house. Vikki and Kimmy were there too. The kids were very excited to see each other. Grandpa enjoyed holding the puppy. She really likes grandpa and cuddled right up on his chest. After visiting with grandpa for awhile, we all went over to Nana and Papa's house to watch Kenzie get off the bus. Nana and Papa were gone on a motorcycle trip though, but, kids still had fun playing outside. Then we all decided to head over to Vikki's house and had sandwiches and chips for dinner. Hailey had dance class this evening so after that, we had to run home quick to get her ready and then left again. It was time to get the kids ready for bed by the time we got back home. Max woke up around 1:00 in the morning again and threw up. He was crying really hard complaining that his head hurts when he lays down. (He's been waking up at this same time every night since he hit his head. He always wakes up crying saying that his head hurts really bad and then he throws up.) Tonight, I also noticed that his ear is pretty bruised on the side that he hit his head.
