Trick or Treat!

Hailey dressed in all black and white, ready for show and tell at school.

Laughing at mommy.

Opening their package that came in the mail.
"Trick or treats" from Grandma Brenda and Papa Dan!
She thought the smiley face pumkin was so funny.
She was excited to see her name on the envelope.

Front and back. I thought he looked cute from behind too.

Hailey was supposed to wear something black or white (the color of the week) for show and tell at school today. She looked cute in her black skirt and white shirt. After dropping her off at school, I cleaned the house. Max followed me around talking to me the whole time I was cleaning. He's getting to be such a talker. He talks all day long and asks tons of questions. Shortly after picking Hailey up from school, we ate lunch. The kids got a package in the mail. Hailey was so excited but I made her wait to open it cause Max was taking a nap. When he woke up they opened it. They were so excited to find a bunch of treats and goodies from Grandma Brenda and Papa Dan. I snuck in the bedroom and put on a costume to suprise Hailey. I figured she would get a kick out of seeing me dressed up. When I came out Max pointed at me and laughed. Hailey gave me a big smile and asked me if I was going to where it trick or treating tonight. She said "You should so you can get candies too." We all met at grandpa's house to go trick or treating. Grandpa enjoyed seeing all hte kids dressed up and gave them each a bag of treats. We then headed over to Omi's neighborhood like we do every year. It was really nice out, and we didn't even get cold. Max was talking to all the people and asking them questions. He asked one guy "why can I not come in your house." And he asked another lady "Do you got lots of trick or treats?" It was funny. We all thought it was funny how he talked the entire time as we walked. Omi is remodling her home so we didn't have chili at her house afterwards like we usually do. Instead, we went back to our house for chili that my mom made. The kids all had fun playing together after eating their chili. Tonight while I was putting Max to bed, Hailey told daddy she was hungry. He told her she should have eaten more chili and then asked her if she ate all of her bread. She said "No cause mommy gave me the different bread." We had homemade white bread. We always get wheat bread so whenever someone gives her white bread she'll ask "what's this" or just not eat it.

It wouldn't quite be Halloween without chili. Thanks for having us over.
