What a cutie.
Bruce left early, around 7:00, for the competition. Jack and I slept in until 10:00. Jack slept 10 hours straight again without waking up to eat. It sure feels good to catch up on sleep. We got ready right away to go shopping with the girls (All the wives decided to go shopping while the guys were gone.) We all met down in the lobby. Jack and I were the first ones down there. We sat on the couch while we waited. Many people came up to see the baby. He gave everyone smiles when they talked to him. First, we went to T.J. Fridays for lunch. Then we went to the Gap store. When we came out of the store, it started to rain. It poured as we walked to the next store. None of us had an umbrella and we were all getting soaked. Jack was such a good sport. His face was dripping wet but he was still happy and smiling the whole time. We ran with the stroller to the Disney store. We stayed in there looking around until the rain had slowed down. It was still raining when we came out but at least it wasn't pouring. We walked to a mall that was close by so we could be inside while it was still raining. We went through some stores in there including one that sold $1000 handbags. We had alot of fun looking at stuff we would never buy. We stopped at the bookstore and got mocha's on the way back to the hotel and also to the Chocolate Factory. Jack was happy the entire time riding in his stroller. All the girls couldn't believe how good he was especially when it was pouring rain on his face. When we got back to the hotel, I fed Jack and put him down for a nap. While he was sleeping, I layed on the bed and read a book. Bruce got back around 3:30. We called and talked to the kids. They were excited to hear from us but didn't want to talk long because they were having so much fun playing. We went out for dinner with two of the other couples in our group. We went to a Mexican restaurant. The girls each took a turn holding Jack. He was very happy with them, giving them a bunch of big smiles. While we were eating, I put him in his carseat and he played with his little duck toy. That's the first time he's held a toy and actually played with it. I think he liked the crinkling sound it made when he touched it. He also liked chewing on the teethers. After eating, we walked through a couple more stores. Bruce and I stopped at the Cheesecake Factory. We got a couple slices of cheesecake and took them back to the hotel to eat them. They were so yummy. I layed Jack on his belly on the bed and he rolled over for the first time. I gave Jack a bath. Then he cuddled in his towel with daddy afterwards. They looked so cute cuddling together on the bed.
