Max "helping" daddy.

Max made himself a bed.
Hailey took these next few pictures.

I was in the bedroom and when I came out to the living room, I found Champ asleep in the swing. (He woke up when I took the picture.) Hailey was pretending he was her baby and had him all wrapped in a blanket.

Bruce let me sleep in this morning. He got both kids ready and took Hailey to school. When I woke up, he had Max outside with him. He was putting a new storm door in the back. Max was wearing safety goggles just like daddy. Daddy gave him a couple pieces of wood and he was pretending to fix the door too. He sure liked "helping daddy". I started working on getting some of the clutter cleaned up in our bedroom. Bruce took Max with him to pick up Hailey. Then he came back to work on the door some more. The kids played outside. Actually they didn't play, they just sat on their steps to their fort and watched them working on the roof next door. They kept waving and saying hi to the guys working. We had to take Jack for his two month well child visit. We also had Hailey and Max get their flu shots while we were there. Jack was very good. He cried when the doctor first picked him up, but then he asked Hailey if she wanted to help him with her brother and had her rub his head and talk to him while he checked him. As soon as he heard Hailey's voice, he stopped crying. Max asked the doctor if he could help too. So he had him come talk to Jack with Hailey. Max started rubbing his head right away like Hailey was. He kept looking back at us smiling. He was so proud of himself for helping the doctor. He talked about it the rest of the day. Jack had to have five shots. He cried but stopped pretty quickly after I picked him up. Hailey begged not to get a shot. She started crying before she even got poked. Max didn't cry at all. It was over quick and he just got back down and started playing again. Jack did good all day. He didn't run a fever and he wasn't fussy at all. (Hailey and Max both ran high fevers everytime they got their shots, and they were always very fussy that first day.) Bruce left for work shortly after we got home. I put Max down for a late nap and had Hailey rest. I got some more cleaning done. Kenzie came over while my mom and dad went to their CMA meeting. The kids had fun playing dress up. Hailey and Kenzie made up some dances and showed them to me.

Jack looks like a doll in that last picture. The "helping Daddy" pictures are great. I loved reading about the doctor visit.
