This is a video I took of Max playing with the "track" that daddy made for him yesterday.

These are some more pictures that Kimmy took while Hailey was staying with her. My headaches were a little better again today, but still not good enough to take off the wrap or move around too much. Although I did get up a little more today and got on my webkinz while talking to my cousin Amanda on the phone. I also walked around the house for a little bit this morning. At least it's starting to get better a little bit each day. Bruce took the kids on a really long bike ride this morning, pulling the kids in the bike trailor behind him. He said they went about five or six miles. They went to Lowe's where they watched a robot demo and got some treats and then to the park. While they were at the park, Hailey told daddy she wanted to leave because she was getting hungary. He asked her if she wanted hotdogs or tacos and she said, "Are they ready made tacos?" (meaning fast food). He told her yes, that they would go to Taco Bell. So they stopped there for lunch on the way back home. When they got back, Hailey was very excited to tell about their bike ride and everything they did. Later on, Bruce brought in an eavestrough and leaned it against the racking horse so Max could send his cars racing down it. it made a neat little track, and Max had tons of fun with it. As the cars would crash and roll over at the bottom, he would say "Oh no"really loud. Bruce took the kids outside to play this evening. Then the neighbor kids saw them and came over to play too. Hailey had so much fun with her friends. I could hear them laughing and screaming from inside. They stayed out till it got dark, and they were exhausted when they came in. Bruce got both kids in bed by 8:30.

My headache was a little bit better today. Actually I didn't even get one when I got up a couple times to go to the bathroom this morning. So I decided to try taking off that tight wrap. I kept it off for a couple hours while I took a nap. When I woke up, I had a terrible headache again. I put it back on. But at least they are getting better as long as I'm wearing the wrap. The headaches aren't quite as intense as they have been. Bruce took the kids to the bookstore for a while today. They love to read books and play with the train table they have there. My mom came and got Hailey after she picked up Mykenzie from school. She took Hailey back to her house for a couple hours and then to her dance class. We kept Mykenzie at our house, so my mom could go in and video tape the class. Mykenzie and Bruce did a bunch of circus acts. It was quite a show and pretty funny too. They both had me laughing. My mom and Hailey came back with donuts. (Nana got her a treat for doing so good in her class today.) We watched the video, and there was a big improvement this week. She participated the whole time. The teachers were very happy and giving her high fives. I was glad to get to watch it on video. Mykenzie, Hailey and Max were doing all the dance steps that they were doing on the video while we were watching it. Max was doing pretty good too, copying them and trying to do all the same steps as them. It was so cute.

I'm still just laying around today. I must admit, it is quite entertaining watching Bruce take care of the kids by himself all day. I don't think he realized how much work it really is staying home with the kids. Now he definately knows I don't just sit around playing with kids all day. Anyway, it's pretty funny to watch him run around all day doing things his own way. I got quite a few good laughs. It's even better than watching TV actually. He is doing a great job taking care of the kids (and me too!). Hey, they say laughter is like medicine, and that's just what I need right now.

The Doctor called this morning and said to keep drinking lots of caffine, stay in bed, and keep that tight wrap on until the headaches go away. He said that they will go away eventually. I hope eventually means soon though cause I'm getting tired of laying around. And I really don't like wearing that tight wrap around my waist. I was very happy to have Max and Hailey come home today. When Hailey walked in the door she picked Champ up and said "Oh, Champ is so little. Why did champ get littler?" Since she has been around Kimmy and Jared's big dogs, Champ must look smaller to her now. They were both very excited to see me. Max came running up to me laughing and smiling and climbed up in my lap right away. Hailey kept rubbing my head and saying "I love you, mommy." Then Max and Hailey kept feeding me bites of their snacks, covering me with blankets, and bringing me pillows. I am getting lots of extra hugs and kisses too. I'm really getting spoiled now.

Well, the kids are having lots of fun at Nana's and Aunt Meme's house. These are all pictures that I copied off of Kimmy's blog. There was a lot of pictures so I just picked some of my favorites. It wasn't easy to pick cause she always takes such good pictures. If you want to see the rest, you can go to Kimmy's blog by cliking on the link to the left. Kimmy said that Max and Jacob were watching a video when Max fell asleep by Jacob in the chair. It's cute how Jacob has his arm around him. And Hailey fell asleep while she was "resting" on the couch. I love how she has her legs crossed and how Trueman (thier dog) is curled up on the other end. I sure do miss them. It's nice being able to get on my mom's and Kimmy's blogs to see pictures and how their day was though. I am doing good as long as I'm laying down. As soon as I get up, my headache comes back. So I've only been geting up to go to the bathroom. Bruce moved the reclining chair by the computer for me so I could do my blog while laying down. He has been taking very good care of me. Since I've been home, he has gone out and got me a mocha, pretzels and pop, cinnomon sticks from pizza hut, and mashed potatoes and biscuits form KFC. On his way out the door to go to KFC he said "Why am I doing this? Your're not pregnant." I guess I'm getting spoiled, but I think I deserve it, don't you?

Surgery Day

The surgery went well. I didn't even yell at the doctor this time! (ha ha ha) The nurse jokingly said that the doctor was wearing earplugs today. I actually felt pretty good when I woke up. I was so happy I didn't have a headache. But, when I got up to get dressed and ready to leave, I started getting a bad headache. It went away after laying back down for a while. They called the doctor and he said it was definately a spinal headache. Then the nurses noticed some swelling around the incision on my back and it got worse within minutes. They called the doctor back and he said that it was from the spinal fluid leaking out. So they put a tight wrap around my waist to help. It is very tight and uncomfortable. The doctor told me to drink lots of caffine and lay down on my back to help with the headaches. So I'm drinking lots of mountain dew and coffee. I'll probably be up all night from all the caffine. I've been laying on the couch with the lights out and shades shut. Champ has been my little buddy laying by my side. I think he knows I came from the hospital. He kept sniffing me when I got home. He stayed by my side most of the time. Maybe he gets worried from all the times I've been in the hospial. My mom came over to see me and stay with me while bruce left to get some pop from the store. Mykenzie and Max also came with her. Mykenzie made me a nice picture . Max was happy to see me. He was tired and cuddled with me on the couch with his blankey for a while. My headache is much better now. I am still laying down, getting up to go to the bathroom. But I did watch a movie with Bruce. That helped pass the time better than laying in the dark. As long as I'm laying down, I'm fine. By the way, I am having Bruce type this for me.

These are pictures that I took while we were getting ready for church this morning. Hailey always likes to "shave" with daddy. Daddy always puts gel in Max's hair and fixes it for church while I do Hailey's. This morning, daddy was playing around and making Max look silly after putting the gel in his hair, making it stick straight up. Hailey looked so cute in her dress with her piggytails.

We got up church this morning. Hailey did much better in her class this and went to week even though Bruce did still stay to help. She participated and did really well today. Bruce said that she did start crying all of a sudden at about 11:30. She told him that she felt sick and wanted her juice. So he went out and got her juice. She was fine again after drinking it. Now we are wondering if maybe she is starting to fell sick every week around that time because of hypoglycemia. Bruce and I are both hypoglycemic and we know she is too. I always have to get out some candy during chuch so I can make it through the service. That could be part of the problem, so next week we are going to try sending her some juice or a snack to see if that will help. They had a business meeting that Bruce and I wanted to go to, so after eating some cookies we took the kids back to the nursery. Hailey did great back there while we were in the meeting. When we came to pick them up, they just kept on playing. I don't even think they wanted to leave. Shortly after we got home from church, Kimmy and Jared came to pick up Max. They were on there way back from dropping off Celeste, their horse, to a new home and decided to come get Max to save us a trip out to Midland. Max was very happy to go with them. I had to leave and take Hailey to the mall to get her pictures taken. I thought I should get that done before the surgery. My mom met me there so she could help me choose. She was so good and smiled for every picture. I took Hailey back home with me cause my mom was going to do some cleaning and then come back later to pick her up after they went out to eat later. The house seemed so quiet without Max here. I let Hailey give her doll a bath in a little tub of water. She loves taking care of her babies. Then she wanted to pack some clothes and stuff for her doll to spend the night with her. So I got her a little bag and let her fill it up with a few things for her to take with her. She picked out some doll clothes, pajamas, a blanket, and a bottle for her baby. Then my mom called and asked if I wanted to meet them for dinner too. They were going out with some friends from church. I got Hailey ready, and we met them at the restaurant. Hailey and I already ate dinner, so I just decided to get a chocolate shake. Hailey was still hungery though and wanted a hamburger. So we ended up sharing the hamburger and shake. It was nice getting to visit with Rich, Jane, and Carrie since we haven't seen them in a while. They're such a nice family. Hailey went home with Nana and Papa. So the house was really quiet when I got home. It's so lonely without the kids and Bruce, I hardly know what to do with myself. Even though I have plenty of things that need to get done to keep me busy.
