The kids are laughing at mommy blowing bubbles with her gum.

We spent most of the day getting things out of boxes and playing with all our new toys. Hailey wanted to get out her moon sand. She had so much fun with it. It's really neat cause you can mold it kind of like playing with wet sand, but it's not messy. It brushes right off clothes and it vaccuums up easily. I put a mat down on the floor though so we wouldn't waste any of it. When she was done playing, I just picked up the mat and dumped it all back in the bucket, very easy cleanup. That's some neat stuff. I even had fun playing with it. It came with some molds, so we could make some animals and a girl. She thought it was fun playing with the different figures that she made. Max played for a long time in his bedroom with his Little People Airport. We still have more toys to get out of boxes. We are getting one at a time out letting them play with that one for a while before getting another one out. They get so excited whenever we get something new out of the box. All these new toys are sure keeping them busy. Hailey hasn't stopped playing with her new doll. She carries it around everywhere, and always has her by her side when she is playing with something else. She'll make a nice little bed on the floor right next to what she wants to play with, and then she'll play while her baby takes a nap. Then she'll stop playing saying her baby needs to eat. The doll makes real sucking noises while she's drinking her bottle and then cries when she wets her diaper, and she doesn't stop crying till you change her. Hailey knows to change her diaper to get her to stop crying, but first she always tries to hold her and bounce her first and then she say "Oh, I think she needs to be changed." I think she thinks the baby really pees too cause she got some on her shirt and wanted to take it off right away saying the baby peed on her. After lunch, I was chewing some gum and started blowing bubbles. Max and Hailey were laughing so hard and kept asking me to blow another one. Then they would ask me to blow loud ones or quiet ones. Hailey always covered her ears for the loud ones. It was a good way for me to get some pictures of Max smiling cause he was laughing the whole time. Later on, we got out the fishing game that Hailey got for Christmas. Her and Max both loved playing it. Hailey was good at catching the fish, even though she sometimes holds it down to stop it while she gets it in the fishes mouth. Daddy helped Max do it for a while, and then Max suprised us and caught a couple fish on his own. He was very serious while he was trying, and got so excited when he finally caught one. After getting the kids in bed, I sat down to read some of my book that I got for Christmas. It's called Deceptively Delicious and it's a cookbook on how to sneak fruits veggies into your kids food. You make a bunch of purees and then you just add them to some foods that kids normally love to eat, like adding cauliflower to mac and cheese and sweet potatoes to chicken nuggets. There is even a recipes for deserts such as brownies with spinach. You are not supposed to be able to see or taste them in the foods. I can't wait to try the recipes.
