As soon as we woke up this morning, I finished packing the suitcases, and then Bruce started packing the van. Hailey was so excited to go. She kept asking "Can we leave now?" I started feeling sick a couple times so we didn't get to leave till after lunch. When we stopped for gas before heading out of town, Hailey said "Put lots of gas in daddy, cause we are traveling a long way." I got hungry again on the way there and asked to stop for a hamburger. When Max heard me, he said "I wan go Mic Donos". I didn't even mention McDonalds, I just said hamburger. We thought it was funny that he knew. Max and I both fell asleep on the way there, but Hailey stayed awake and talked to daddy the whole time. When we were almost there and Max saw the house, he got all excited saying "I tee Jessie, I tee Jessie." When we them out of the van, they ran up to Papa Dan in the driveway saying hi. They stayed outside and watched him shovel for a few minutes before going inside to see Grandma Brenda and Jessie. When we got inside, it didn't take long before they found the toys and started playing. They also love to peek through the little kitty door looking for the cats in the basement. Later Nonnie, Grandpa Gorday, Brian, Veronica, and their kids came over, and we had dinner and opened presents. The kids all sat at the picnic table together to eat. Max kept sneaking bites from Hailey, Sebastian, and Pele's plates. After dinner we got the kids together for a picture in front of the tree before opening gifts. Max actually did good opening gifts this time, unlike on his birthday when he didn't want to go on to the next present just wanting to play with the one toy he opened first. I was glad he didn't do that this time. His favorite though was the matchbox cars. Good thing it was one of the last things he opened cause I don't think he would have gone on to the next gift cause he wanted to get them out and play with them right away. Papa Dan got them out for him and he played with them the rest of the night. He loved taking them in and out of the car storage box. Hailey wanted to get out her cash register and her and Pele had fun playing store together. Sebastian came over and played store too pretending to buy the tractors from her. Hailey also loved her digital camera she got and went around taking pictures of everyone. We let the kids stay up pretty late playing with some of their new toys. Max pretty much was happy just playing with his new cars the whole time till he went to bed. He cried when I picked him up to put him to bed cause he didn't want to stop playing with them even though it was an hour and a half past his bedtime. Usually we can hardly keep him up past 8:00 before he starts begging to go night night. He did go to bed good though once I layed him down in the crib.

Pele patiently waiting for her next present to open.
