Bruce took the day off today and also tomorrow to work on the kitchen. He started on it as soon as he woke up this morning. I got Max's tool bench out of the box and put it together for him. He loved pounding the nails in and using the screwdriver to screw in the screws. He knew just what to do. It was pretty much another relaxing day of just playing at least for the kids and I. Bruce went over to the neighbors, and Ken sent him home with some more matchbox cars to add to Max's collection. Max was very happy to put them in his car carrier box. He sat and played with all his cars for a long time. I keep them in his closet and he gets so excited when I bring them out. He'll sit and play quietly by himself with them for a couple of hours making a bunch of car sounds while he's playing. I love listening to him and all the different sounds he comes up with. The hood opens up on one of the cars and he points inside it saying "Dat a motor, Mommy." He always says that when he opens the hood on one of the cars at Nana's house too. It's really cute how he says it. Bruce got done with the kitchen cabinets today. Now he just has to paint around the window and put up the trim.
