The kids cheering for daddy while he was bowling

I slept terrible last night. I only got a couple hours of sleep. I just wasn't feeling very good and felt worse when I layed down. I'll be glad when I'm past the first trimester. Bruce woke up at 6:3o so we got up and watched some TV. I had just fallen asleep on the couch when Max woke up. I woke up to him crawling in my lap to give me a kiss. He cuddled with me for a few minutes before he got down to play. I had the foot stool out on the couch and he started pretending it was an airplane. Bruce took the kids outside to play for before lunch. Max started holding onto his hat before even getting out the door. He wouldn't let go of it until Bruce pulled his hand down to show him it wouldn't blow away. They were having so much fun running around chasing daddy and throwing snowballs. I didn't go out cause I was still feeling sick. When they got in, I made the kids some hot chocolate. Hailey, Bruce, and I were all laying on the bed for a few minutes in our room, and when I went out to see what Max was doing, I found Champ on the table drinking the rest of Hailey's hot chocolate. Max had put him up there, and he was standing right in front of him watching. There was only a little bit of hot chocolate left, so Champ's whole face was in the mug. I called Kimmy right away to see if Champ would be alright since he had chocolate. She said that he would be fine since it was just milk chocolate. I can't believe a dog would even drink hot chocolate. We decided to go bowling this evening. Hailey got so excited when we told her where we were going. They had so much fun. It was Max's first time actually bowling. He would give the ball a little push and then come running back with his tongue sticking out, just like his great grandma always did. Whenever it was Hailey's turn, he would say "my turn, my turn". At first we just put Hailey's name up there and let them each bowl once each turn. But after their first turn, Hailey said "But we're supposed to go two times. Aunt Meme said." So we added Max's name and let them each play their own game. Hailey even went up all on her own for her turns. Everytime she would raise her arms up after she pushed the ball. It's hard to see in that picture cause it's so dark, but that is what she is doing. Then she would come running back with a big smile on her face. They would sit on the step clapping and cheering while Bruce and I took our turns. We ate hotdogs and fries for dinner. Hailey was also really excited when daddy gave her a dollar to get a treat. I took her to go pick one out of the snack machine and she wanted to put the dollar in herself. She picked some cookies for her and Max to share. When we got home, I was reading a book to Hailey in the rocking chair. Then Max climbed up saying "I ride boat too". Hailey decided she wanted to pretend she was Jonah so I rocked the chair faster to pretend the storm was rocking the boat. Then Max and I would say "Get out of the boat Jonah" pretending to push her out. She would run around saying the big fish was going to get her and then come running to climb back in the boat to play it again. We played it over and over until it was time to get ready for bed. When I was rocking Max tonight, he sang the whole "Row Row Row Your Boat" song with me. That's the first time he's ever sang a whole song before.

She remembered everything about her fun time she had bowling with Jacob when you and mom took her.
