Bruce worked alot on the kitchen again this morning. The kids both ran and got their chairs and put them in the doorway to the kitchen so they could watch daddy work. Everytime he used the drill, they would both cover their ears (like in the picture above). We told the kids today about the new baby on the way. First we read the book "Baby On The Way" and then we told them. While we were reading the book, she kept saying "No that's Aunt Meme and that's Jacob" while pointing to the pictures of the mommy and the little boy. Since Kimmy just had a baby, it just had to be her and Jacob in the pictures and not mommy, Max, and Hailey. But when we were done with the book and told them, Hailey was very excited. Max doesn't quite understand yet. He'll copy Hailey and say "Hi baby" talking to my belly. We got him saying "I Big Brother" just like in the video, but he's just too young to really know what's going on yet. He'll start to understand better when I start showing. Although, Hailey said to me today "You're belly is getting a little bit big now". Then she put her hand on my belly and asked if she could feel the baby kick. She is just so excited. She also keeps saying "The baby is very tiny right now. It takes a long time for the baby to grow." Yesterday, Max got an Elmo shirt which he loves and a Cookie Monster doll. He sat on the couch cuddling with it while he was watching a video. Somebody that works with Bruce gave us a bag of clothes and a few other things that their kids had outgrown. I was just too tired last night to do my blog. I decided to go to bed early instead.
