My dad came over this morning to help Bruce work on the kitchen. Bruce finished painting the walls last night, and they got some of the cabinets put in today. They got alot done, and it's looking good. Max liked watching them in the kitchen, especially when they got the drill out. He kept saying "Wow" and really watched what they were doing with it. Hailey just covered her ears when she heard the drill. That's what she is doing in the first picture of her above. Hailey and Max went and got their tools too, and they were pretending to drill and measure things. My dad and Bruce were working on it all day, so for dinner we ordered out pizza. I called my mom and asked if she wanted to come over and eat with us. After I got off the phone, I found the kids in front of the door with their chairs facing each other. They were both sitting in the "bed" they made with their blankets. Then the guys took a break and we all had some pizza. My mom thought the kitchen was starting to look nice too. Bruce had to run to the store after they were done working for the night, so he took Hailey with him. I got ready for bed, and I rocked him for a long time since I didn't have to get Hailey ready yet. He was so cuddley and sweet. While I was rocking him, he said "I la (love) Mommy, I la Daddy, I la Hailey, I la Champ." Hailey came back with chocolate all over her face. Daddy got her some cookies. Of course he brought me some too. She was hard to get calmed down for bed tonight, but she fell asleep really fast once the lights were out.
