Max playing with his "special toys" from his backpack.

Here's a video of Hailey walking in the pool.
This morning we got up early and went over to the restaurant for breakfast. Instead of serving a continental breakfast, they give you a certificate to get a free breakfast at the Big Boy across the street. Again the kids loved watching all the snowmobiles out the window while we ate. Hailey said "We should buy a hotel. Then we can have lots of babies. Cause there is tons of rooms for all the kids and you can separate them if they are loud so they will go to sleep good." When we got back to the hotel, we started packing. Hailey and Max had fun playing with the toys in their backpacks. We packed everything into the car except the swimming stuff. Then we headed over to the pool. We swam for about an hour and a half before heading home. Hailey saw a spider and asked daddy to kill it. After he squished it, she hugged him and said "Thank you, daddy, for killing spiders. I'm glad to have Jacob and daddy." Then she told me all about how Jacob isn't scared to kill spiders. We stopped back at the pizza place and got subs for lunch. Max noticed the music playing at the restaurant and said "Is dat good nugic (music), mommy?" Hailey and Max danced while we waited to be seated. When we got back in the car again, Jack started crying so Max rubbed his head and said softly "Jack, go to sweep (sleep)." When I handed Max a couple cars from his backpack to play with on the way home, he said "You nice." He says this to us anytime we do something for him, no matter how small it is, even sometimes when I'm just getting him a drink. He also tells me that every night when I tuck him in bed. It's so sweet how he says it. When we got home, I fed Jack bananas, his first fruit. He loved it. He smiled when I gave him his first bit. He was really watching the spoon and opening his mouth big for the next bites.
