Hailey wearing the headband that Nana helped her make.

Learning how to sew.

Max wanted to try too.

Jack loves this stuffed dog. It barks when you squeeze it and he thinks it's so funny. He was really laughing hard at it.
Hailey wanted to hold Jack standing up.
Max got out his wallet and used the pennies to "fix" his car wheels.
Max also likes to line all his change up.

"A circle!"

After church, Bruce and our neighbor, Ken, decided to go get some wood from my parents' house. The kids and I went along. Hailey and Max thought it was great having Ken ride in our van with us. The kids and I stayed and visited while Bruce and Ken loaded up the wood and then took it back to our house. Hailey asked Nana to teach her how to sew. Nana got out the sewing machine and some material. Both Hailey and Max stood there watching Nana as she started sewing. They sure were interested in how it worked. Hailey said "I know, we can make a headband!" So Nana helped make her a headband. She loved it and put it on right away. Then we got a stool so Hailey could push the peddle herself. She liked picking out the stitch design she wanted and thought it was neat when she saw it on the material. Max wanted to give it a try too so he was next. His foot didn't reach as well so Nana helped him push the pedal. He too liked picking out the stitch designs. After they were done sewing, I took Hailey and Kenzie upstairs to play dolls. I layed Jack on the bed. He started laughing at a stuffed dog that I was pretending to get him with. Max heard Jack laughing and came over to see what was so funny. I pretended to get him with the dog too and had them both giggling. Then Hailey joined in too and all three of them were laughing so hard. It was funny listening to them all laughing at the same time. I was surprised Jack liked it so much cause it has a real sounding bark, and he's been really scared of noises lately. Earlier today, he was in the kitchen playing in his exercauser when daddy was using the salad shooter. He started shaking and crying as soon as it turned on. He was quite upset and for about an hour after that he would cry every time he looked at daddy. I was feeding him some fruit in the highchair and he was very happy until daddy came and sat down at the table. Then he started crying and giving him looks like he was still upset with him. It was actually pretty funny. After daddy was done eating, he held him and after that Jack finally smiled at him. But he still wouldn't let me put him back in the exercauser the rest of the day. And yesterday, daddy got out the hand vac while Jack was sleeping. He heard it and woke up crying. He really doesn't like loud noises at all.
