Iceskating with her boots.

"This is so slippery!"

Daddy helping Max skate.

"Let's go sledding now!"

Getting a ride uphill.
Eating snow on the way up.

Let's race!

Drinking hot chocolate in the warming house.

Tickle fight!

Watching the sledders.

Tobogganing.
Here we come!

Just daddies and sons this time.

Here comes Uncle Jared and Jacob!

And now here comes Daddy and Max. Jacob reaching out to give Uncle Bruce a high five.

Wow, all that sledding really wore him out. He fell asleep before we even pulled out of the parking lot.
Jack had fun too (at Nana's house).

Max playing with his bath stickers that Nana got him.

"I makin a road for my cars to drive on."

This is what Hailey did to her leg while on the toboggan. She didn't cry or complain that it hurt until she got in the bath tonight, and that's when we noticed it.
At 11:30, we dropped Jack off at Nana's house and then met Kimmy and her family to go sledding and tobogganing. We all had so much fun. We started out on the ice skating rink. Hailey loved iceskating with her boots. She also enjoyed watching the other kids with their iceskates on. We'll have to let her try that next time. She did very well with her boots. Max kept falling but liked it when we held his hands. After spending some time on the ice, we got out our sleds and headed for the snow hill. The kids really enjoyed sledding. As soon as we got to the bottom of the hill, they would yell "Let's do it again!" After about an hour and a half of sledding, we decided to go in the warming house for some hot chocolate. The kids were acting so silly. They were playing with their straws and tickling each other. I love listening to them as they talk and play together. Their conversations are so cute. Once they finished their hot chocolates, we decided to go tobogganing. These are the same toboggan runs that we went on when when we were kids so it brought back lots of fun memories for Kimmy and I. Max and Jacob really loved it. Max said "Dat was fun! Can we do it again?" But Hailey didn't like it at all. Somehow her foot got caught and it took her boot right off. She didn't cry or act like it hurt her. She got right up and started walking. She just said that she didn't want to do it again, but we had to go down the next one to get back. She started crying as we walked up the steps to get on again. As we were walking up, Max kept saying "It's OK Haywee. It's OK." It was so sweet how he said it. He was acting very concerned. We convinced her to give it another try telling her that we would hold onto her feet this time making sure it didn't get caught. She didn't cry as we were going down, but still didn't like it and didn't want to do it any more. We all took turns sitting with Hailey and Adam. Hailey sure was being cute with Adam. He cried as his mommy walked away and Hailey would say "It's OK Adam" and she'd show him something to get his mind off of it. He really liked sitting next to Hailey on the little bench. We didn't get back to Nana's to pick Jack up until around 3:30 so she watched him for about four hours. That's the longest we've left him. Nana said that he ate his cereal good but wouldn't take the bottle. (He just likes to chew on the nipple.) He was smiling and happy when we got back. WE stayed and visited for awhile. The kids had fun playing in the basement. Max liked pretending to crash his car and then would "fix" the wheels. He would set the car up on the Sit n Spin and then act like he was picking up tools off the floor as he pretended to change the tires. When we got home, we ate dinner and then made monkey bread for desert. The kids loved rolling their dough into balls and then dipping them in the butter and cinnomon. After eating our yummy treat, I gave the kids their baths before getting them to bed. Hailey complained when she stepped in the water that her leg hurt. I was suprised when I saw that she had a huge scrape on her leg. She didn't even complain about it when it happened, but it sure looks like it must have hurt. No wonder she didn't want to go down the next hill.
Here are a few videos that I took today.

Max sings this over and over as he walks around playing his drum.

Here he is fixing his car. I love how he pretends to pick up tools and then sets them back down when he's done.

Poor Hailey's leg. I can still feel it for her. Can't believe she kept going without complaining.
The little Drummer Boy is sure cute. Good job drumming and singing Max. I love how the grandsons have to put their cars up on something to fix them. They are so cute. Love ya

Cute videos. Wow, I can't believe Hailey didn't even complain about her leg when we were there. We sure had a great time. Max must have been exhausted! Love ya!
