I got the kids ready and we went to church this morning. Bruce had to work so he couldn't go. It wasn't easy carrying two diaper bags and a carseat but I managed to get us all in. Hailey helped me by taking Max's hand in the parking lot. When we got home, we ate lunch and then I filled the small pool up for the kids to swim. Hailey asked for the smaller pool because she wanted to put the slide in it. They love sliding into the water. After swimming, we went in so Max could take his nap and Hailey could rest. When daddy got home from work, we went for a walk. We decided to take a longer walk and headed for the school so the kids could play on the playground. After about halfway there, the sky started getting dark and we heard thunder. So we turned around and headed back home. We stopped at the 7/11 on the way back for a treat. Hailey and Max both got slurpies. It started sprinkling, and we made it home just on time. As soon as we got the strollers put away and came in the house, it started pouring and got pretty windy. It was lightening alot and the thunder was really loud. I was very glad to be inside. Jack got a little bit fussy this evening. He didn't want to be put down, not even in the swing.
