Day 8

We got up early this morning to start packing because we had be out of camp by noon. We decided to go to the beach again. First, we drove to go see a wind farm. Then we stopped and got lunch at a small restaurant that was closing and this was their last day opened. The owners were retiring. It was a neat little restaurant. The kids loved all the old ride-on toy tractors and cars. They had a collection of over 25 of them. Max expecially liked the tractors. After we ate, we headed to the beach. It was a nice warm day. The kids loved playing in the sand but didn't want to swim at all. We stayed for about an hour. We drove by a festival in a very small town on the way and decided to stop. The kids got to do pony rides which they especially loved because they took them for rides all around a little wooded area instead of just in circles. Then they got to pet a bunch of farm animals. We got icecream and a deep fried twinky (YUM!). The kids also had fun playing at the park there. On our way home, we stopped in to visit my Aunt Vikki and Uncle Terry. We got home around 7:00.

Daddy helping Hailey and Max fly their kites.

Jack got his first tub bath tonight. He loved it. He cried only when we took him out.

I love this picture.
