Max woke up first around 8:00. He played with his cars on his blankie until Hailey woke up around 8:30. Then I turned Clifford on and we sat on the couch and watched that together. After breakfast, Hailey asked to make a project. I got out some old magazines and let her cut out some pictures to glue on a piece of paper. I helped Max cut some pictures out too. He picked all bugs and butterflies. He wanted to use the scissors too so I helped hold a piece of paper for him while he cut it up. This is the third time he has used scissors. He just tried it for the first time last week. He does pretty good, but still uses two hands to hold the scissors when he cuts. Lately Max has been a little climber trying to climb on everything. A few times now, he's climbed up on his dresser/changing table. He opens the drawers just a little bit so he can get his feet on it to help him climb up. Today while Hailey was playing in his room with him, and she called me saying "Mommy come quick! Max is doing something dangerous." I went in the room and found him up on the changing table again. It scares me because he walks back and forth on it from one side to the other. Then when he sees me coming to get him, he laughs and quickly turns to go to the other side. It was a beautiful day today, so I took the kids outside to play after eating an early lunch. Max rode his car and Hailey rode her bike around the back porch. Then Hailey saw that the neighbor kids were out riding their bikes on the sidewalk so she asked if she could go play with them. They all rode their bikes and cars up and down the sidewalk together for a while and then they came over and played until Max's naptime. When Max and Daddy woke up, we ate dinner and then got ready to go to Bible study. We decided to start going again cause they are having it at the church now where childcare is provided and they are starting earlier, which is much better for us cause of the kids bedtimes. Before we didn't get home until 10:00 and that was just way too late especially for Max who is always ready for bed by 8:00. Now it only runs until 8:30, and instead of having cookies and visiting afterwards, they have a cookie break during the middle of it so everyone can leave right away when it's done. The kids had fun playing in the nursery. The teacher said that Hailey talked to her the whole time. She was always Hailey's favorite nursery worker and was the only one that could get Hailey to stop crying when she was a baby. Hailey seemed to have made friends with a boy who is about the same age as her. She ran up to him to talk to him while we were getting ready to leave. We got the kids ready for bed right away when we got home. Hailey wanted to read one book by herself after we read to her. While she was reading, I started asking her about her day. She held up her hand and said "Wait I'm reading. Please don't talk to me while I'm reading. That's rude." After she was done reading her book, she was happy to tell me all about her day, especially about having her friends come over to play and getting to go play with friends at church.

I can't believe how much Max likes to climb. Its cute how Hailey called you saying Max was doing something dangerous. I loves Max's expression in that last picture.
