Max woke up a little early this morning, around 7:30. He asked to put on his choo choo train underwear right away. A few times today, he said "I wanna tee Daddy." Hailey asked a couple times today when he was going to come home too. After lunch, I collected some different things around the house like a cotton ball, sponge, feather, etc. and put then in a basket. Then we played a game with them where we would blind fold the other person while touching them with the item and after they took the blind fold off they would have to guess what it was. Hailey really loved it and was pretty good at guessing each thing. Max didn't want anything to do with the blindfold but loved to feel the different things touching his skin. While Max took a nap, Hailey colored a piece of paper and then cut it up and glued the pieces onto another paper. Then she got out the measuring tape and wanted to measure each piece of paper. She did that for quite a while, also measuring other things around her. Max only slept for about an hour. He wanted to color too when he woke up, so I got out his big train coloring book. Max wore his underwear for a coule hours this evening and didn't have a single accident. He even told me a few times when he had to go potty. Max also didn't dump out all the toy buckets today, just his cars so he could find the ones he wanted. I think he is starting a new climbing phase though. He tried climbing on everything today, the end tables in the living room, the back of the couch, the toy box, and even the changing table. Bruce came home around 8:00 tonight. When the kids heard him come through the door they both ran up to him screaming "Daddy's home! Daddy's home!" They were so excited to see him. Right away Max held his hands up to him and said "Hold me, daddy, hold me."

Here are some pictures of Sebastian and Pele helping Uncle Bruce while he was putting in his mom's countertops. He said they were great helpers. Sebastian especially liked helping. He handed Uncle Bruce the tools when he asked for them and also helped sweep up the mess.

The countertops look great. Looks like the kids loved helping Uncle Bruce.
