Max is having the farmer fix
the motor.

Haiey is reading her book that she made the other day.

Hailey wanted to get out her art bucket again and asked to paint this morning. I got out the easle and the paints, and Hailey and Max had fun using the sponges to paint with. They were pretty messy when they finished. They even had paint in their hair. So I put them both in the shower to clean them off. Max loves his John Deere tractors. He expecially likes that the hood opens up so he can pretend the farmer is fixing the motor. He opens it up and says "Uh oh, the motor bwoke. The parmer gotta pix it." Bruce suprised us and came home early right after we finished lunch. Hailey wanted to go outside and play, so Bruce told her that they could after Max's nap. But when Max woke up, it was raining. She said "I got an idea. We can get our rainboots on and our umbrellas and go stomp in the puddles." So Bruce still took them outside and let them play in the rain for a while. They had fun splashing in the puddles. They also loved carrying the umbrellas around, until they walked around to the front of the house and the wind blew harder. Then Hailey thought she was going to blow away cause it would pull on the umbrella. They were both soaked when they got in. Their clothes were still dry though cause they had snowsuits on, but everything else was soaked. After dinner, they played the fishing game until it was time for bed. Hailey wanted to read her book that she made the other day tonight before bed. She sat down on her bed and read it to Champ. She remembered everything she told me to write and pretty much read it word for word.

I think the pictures of Max with his tractors and farm stuff are so cute. I like how he talks about the motor being broke. He talks so cute. Hailey has a great memory. Nice that she wrote her first book already and remembered what it said. She's a smartie.
Cute paint pictures. What memories! Love all of you!
