OUR TRIP TO COLORADO

This is a picture as we were flying into Chicago. It was such a beautiful view.

My mom and I had a great trip. Gail and Tammy picked us up at the airport as soon as we got there. Then we went to the hospital to see my Aunt Linda right away. She was so happy to see us. She is still in the intensive care, but is doing much better. We spent most of our time there visiting her as much as we could. We brought a DVD of the rest of the family to show her. She really enjoyed watching that. The first day we were there, it was pretty cold. But the second day was really nice, almost 60 degrees. It was a beautiful sunny day. We even took off our coats cause it got so warm. We visited the garden of gods which was awesome. Some people were riding horses through them which would be so much fun. As we were coming back home, we got delayed in Chicago. Just as they were boarding people on the plane, they found a problem with the engine, so they had to get everyone off the plane and tried to swap planes. But they just kept delaying our flight everytime and so we were at that airport for over 12 hours. We didn't mind the first few delays, but after a while we were getting pretty tired of it. At least there was alot to do at that airport. There was a bunch of gift shops and plenty of places to go eat. We watched the airplanes come and go and took some videos of them for the kids. We even checked out the children's play area which was really neat. My mom and I sure had alot of good laughs too. My dad, Bruce, and the kids were waiting for us at the airport when we flew in. The kids were so excited to see us. After getting hugs and kisses from them, I pulled out the suprises I had gotton for the kids. Hailey loved her indian doll and Max loved his toy airplane. Bruce had put them to bed and woke them up to come see me. I was so happy that they got to come too even though it was so late. I missed them so much and was glad to get to see them right away. They were wide awake at the airport but went back to bed really good for us once we got home.
