Jack loved this pig toy and kept reaching for it when we set it down.
Bruce telling his little sister, Jessie, she can't have his new i pod.
Jack also really loved his new Learning Puppy.
He was having a hard time carrying his three trains without dropping them. But he loved them and didn't want to put any of them down. He just want to carry them around all at the same time.
Max absolutely loved these little wheels that came with his miniature Cars vehicles.
Hailey and Pele feeding their babies so they would "pee" in their little potties.
Fun with the boxes.
Hailey had daddy cut holes in her box to make a car. Then she taped on the cut out circles on the front of the box for headlights. She stepped in the box and put her legs through the holes so she could "drive" her car around. She even had her baby and her purse in their with her.
Hailey liked when daddy picked her up in the box and "drove" her around. She used one of the circle pieces for a steering wheel.

Hailey and Megan sure had a good time playing together. They walked around holding hands most of the time.
The blanket and pillows that Bruce's mom made for me sure came in handy on the way home. We used them to prop the kids' heads up so they could sleep in the van on the way home.
This morning, the kids slept in. I think Hailey woke up at about 9:00, and Max slept in until 10:00. Hailey smiled as she walked out and saw all the presents around the tree. Max was excited too and kept saying "Look it all da fwesents (presents)!" We went upstairs and ate breakfast, and then the kids opened their stockings. They sure were excited. When Nonnie got there, we started opening gifts. Max loved all his new cars he got, and Hailey was VERY excited to get a "baby that poops". It was so funny how she kept saying "She poo poos!" She wanted to get her baby out right away. She fed it a bottle and thought it was so funny when it "peed" all over Grandma Brenda. She was laughing so hard. The kids were excited when Uncle Brian, Aunt Veronica, Sebastian, and Pele showed up. We opened some more gifts. Pele and Hailey played with their new dolls together. Max loved playing cars with Papa Dan. They set up a race track with a loop and played with that for a long time. Max loved watching the cars go down the hill, through the loop, and around the curve back to him. Around 2:00, we headed over to Grandma Debbie's house. After playing and visiting for a little bit, we opened gifts. Hailey and Pele were excited to get the Baby Alive Birthday dolls. They liked having her blow out her candle and drink from her straw. Max loved his big tractors and wanted to get them out right away. They also had fun playing with the empty boxes. Max climbed right in it and put his blankie over his head to make a tent. Then Hailey used it to make a car. She had daddy cut holes in it. She showed him exactly where she wanted him to cut. Then she took the cut out circles and taped them on saying they were the headlights. We ate dinner and then let the kids play some more. The kids all played hide and seek. It was so funny when it was Max's turn to count. He would cover his eyes with his hands as he counted, but kept peeking. Then, even though he knew where they were hiding, he would say "Hmmm, where are dey hiden (hiding)" as he looked for them. He says it just like I do when I am pretending to look all over the house for him when he's hiding. They sure were having fun together. We stayed until about 6:00 and then went to see the Christmas light show. It was really neat how he makes his lights "dance" to the music. The kids really enjoyed this. Max was dancing the whole time. Then we went back to Papa Dan and Grandma Brenda's house. They had everyone over so we decided to stop in and visit for a little while before heading home. Papa Dan got out some more cars for Max to play with since his were all packed in the van. Hailey had fun playing dolls with Megan. They were so cute walking around holding hands. Max was going around asking everyone for chocolate peanut butter balls. We were all giving him one and didn't notice until he had about 4 or 5 since he would ask a different person each time. He kept complaining that his belly hurt. We left for home around 10:00. Hailey said she was tired but couldn't get comfortable because she was riding in a booster seat. And I knew Max has a hard time sleeping in his carseat. The pillows and blanket that Bruce's mom made for me sure came in handy cause I used them to prop the kids up. It took three of the pillows to get Hailey comfortable so she could rest her head and fall asleep. And I used the blanket to keep Max's head from falling down. The kids quickly fell asleep and slept the whole way until we were about a half an hour from home. Max started crying saying he can't sleep in the van. Then he asked for his milk but it wasn't cold enough for him even though it had been in the cooler. He was just throwing the biggest fit ever and wasn't happy with anything. He cried the rest of the way home. He ended up waking Hailey up too. Max was still crying as we walked through the door. I tried giving him some new milk out of the fridge but he didn't like the cup I gave him. He threw himself to the floor crying. By then I knew nothing was going to make him happy. Actually trying to "fix" it was just making it worse and he was getting more upset. So I carried him to his bed and tucked him in. After a few minutes of crying in his bed, he stopped and fell asleep. I really have never seen him act like this before. He's not one that throws fits very often and usually if he does they are very mild. He was just so over tired. Bruce and I stayed up until 3:30 unpacking and getting the presents under the tree for tomorrow morning.
