Taking a bike ride with daddy

Taking carrots to the horses

Feeding Sammy

We had to get up early this morning to go get the tickets for Hailey's dance recital. Then we went and got donuts before going to some garage sales. Hailey had to go potty and asked if she could go potty at daddy's work. So we stopped in there before heading home. They had icecream in the fridge, so daddy dished us all up an icecream cone before we left. When we got home, the kids played outside for a little bit with daddy while I got lunch ready. Then they both took a nap. When Hailey woke up, I took her outside to play. She wanted to ride her bike and asked daddy if she could go on a bike ride with him. She wanted him to ride his bike too. He got his bike out and they went around the block together. She did really good and rides pretty fast on her bike now. It was her first real bike ride. Usually we just walk along side of her while she rides her bike. She felt so big riding along with daddy. Max woke up by the time they got back, so I got his car out for him to ride. Hailey still didn't want to stop when they got back, so I put Max in the bike seat and they went on another bike ride around the block. We decided to call Kimmy this evening to see if she wanted to watch the kids for a little bit while Bruce and I went out for dinner. We stopped and picked up McDonald's on the way for the kids. They were so excited to get to go to Aunt Meme's house. Hailey really wanted to feed the horses some carrots so we also stopped at the store to pick some up for them. We visited for a few minutes and then left to go out to eat and then out for icecream. It was late when we got back and Kimmy had the kids in their pajamas and had given them baths. We were hoping they would fall asleep on the way home but they were both wide awake when we pulled in the driveway. Max kept saying "Help me to pall ateep in da ban (van). Pix (fix) mine bankie." He wanted me to keep tucking his blankie on the side of his carseat so he could rest his head on it but he just couln't seem to get comfortable. He was so happy to get in his crib as soon as we got home.
