Max woke up early this morning around 7:30. He cuddled on the couch with me for a little while and then got down to play with his cars and tractors. Hailey didn't wake up till 8:30. We all ate breakfast and then watched Sesame Street. After lunch, Kimmy and Jared brought Adam over. We watched him while they took their dogs to the vet. Hailey and Max both had fun playing with Adam. Max had all his tractors lined up and was playing with them and Adam was sitting on the floor playing with some toys. Then Max said "Adam want to play with a tractor too." He handed Adam two of his tractors to play with. Adam picked one of the tractors up and was just holding it so Max said "No you gotta drive it, like dis" taking it and showing him how to push it on the floor. After showing him what to do with it, he gave it back and Adam pushed it like Max had shown him. Max smiled at him and started playing with his other tractors right next to him. Adam definately knows my name now and kept coming up to me, holding his arms up saying "Meme Meme". He was getting very cuddly since it was close to his naptime and I could tell he was getting tired. Around 2:30 I put Max down for his nap and then took Hailey and Adam outside. Adam loved playing in the little playhouse and would go down the little slide on his belly. He also liked opening and closing the door. We were just about to go push him on the swing when Kimmy and Jared got back. Jacob ran straight for the sand box and had fun playing with the tractors in the sand. Adam had fun walking all around the yard and in the play fort. Vikki dropped Kenzie off after picking her up from school cause she is going to Kimmy's to spend the night. Hailey and Kenzie had fun playing on the swings and going down the slide. When daddy woke up this evening (he's back on midnights this week), we went to get our flowers for the back. We also got some vegetable plants while we were there and stopped at Grandpa's to plant them in the garden. Max and Hailey were excited to see that Papa was there too. Max really enjoyed watching Papa and Daddy put the mower back on the tractor, and he also loved watching grandpa drive it back to the garage. The kids liked helping daddy dig the holes to put the plants in. Then they ran around the yard picking dandelions. Hailey and Max kept running up to grandpa to show him the flowers they had picked. It was too late to plant the flowers by the time we got home. It was already past the kids bedtime but we decided to let them ride their bikes around the block one time before going in to get ready for bed.
