Max came out and layed on the couch when he woke up this morning. His head felt warm. He had a 101.5 temperature. He watched Science Kid and Clifford and then fell right back asleep for another hour. He tried getting down to play when he woke up but that only lasted a few minutes and then he was back laying on the couch again. Hailey is feeling great except for that terrible cough she still has. But it doesn't seem to really bother her at all. Jack was a little better than last night but still had a low grade fever, a very stffy nose, and a cough. He wasn't quite as fussy as yesterday. He played "Patty Cake" alot today and kept doing "So Big" over and over. Whenever he wants to play "Patty Cake", he says "pa" while clapping his hands. Then he smiles really big when I start saying it. Hailey finally started eating some of her Easter candy today. Max ate one little piece but still wasn't very interested. They did enjoy going through all their stuff that they got though and had fun playing with the new little toys. Hailey really liked her magnifying glass. She went around "exploring" like Sid the Science Kid, a show we like to watch in the mornings. Ever since we started watching that show, Hailey's been asking for a magnifying glass so they were excited to get them in their Easter baskets. Hailey carried it around with her all day. She even used it while we read books tonight. She liked that it made the words get big. And Max always says "dats my super big idea", another thing he's picked up from that show. Jack found a ball on floor. He started pushing it around saying "ba". Max seemed to be feeling a little better after he woke up from his nap. We went to the coney dog place for dinner. And he actually ate! Both Hailey and Max ate really good. They even wanted more, so daddy gave them one of his hotdogs to split and they ate all that too. After Max ate a few bites, he said "Mommy, I feel so much better now." Then when we got home, Max came up to me and said "I don't hab a feber (fever) any mo more. Jesus make me all better now." He played with his cars until bedtime.
