Hailey got warm and asked to wear shorts. She had found a pair in her drawer from last year. She wanted to show me how fast she can run and then said "Exercise is good for your body. Running is good exercise."


Max sat in front of the stroller like this for a long time, just talking, making silly faces, and playing with Jack. Jack loved it and was talking lots and smiling at Max. Just as I took the picture though, Hailey put her hand up.

Then Max wanted to push Jack around in the stroller. He was acting so big and being so sweet taking such good care of his baby brother.


He'd push him around for awhile and then stop to talk to him before pushing him around again.



Hailey and Max had fun "exploring" using their magnifying glasses outside.


Hailey found some rocks and lined them up from smallest to biggest.


It was a gorgeous day (71 degrees and sunny). We enjoyed spending most of the day outside. We went out after lunch and stayed out until dinnertime. I gave the kids pushes on the swings. Then they saw the neighbor kids out playing and called them to the fence. They talked through the fence and Hailey held the puppy up to the fence so they could pet her. Then they played a game throwing leaves back and forth to each other over the fence. I decided to just let Max skip a nap today and we stayed outside and played. We had our snack outside and then Max pushed Jack around in the stroller. He was sure playing alot with Jack today. He kept going up and talking to him. He even sat in front of the stroller talking and playing with Jack for quite a long time. Daddy woke up at 4:30 and joined us outside. Max loved playing in the sandbox. He played in it for over an hour. We let the puppy off the leash and she had fun running around the yard with us. She came right away every time we called her name. We also got all Champ's toys out for her to play with. She had fun chasing them around the yard, and especially liked the squeaky balls. After dinner it was time to take Hailey to dance class. We stopped for donuts afterwards. When we got home, we went back outside and stayed out until 8:00.
