Watching daddy fly the kite.
Hailey's been taking such good care of "Traveling Bear". Her and Max collected all their stuffed animals and had a party. They set up the tea set and had them all sitting in a circle on the floor. They plyaed this all morning. Jack is really close to figuring out how to move forward crawling. He'll take one "step" forward and then fall flat on his belly and reach his arms way out to try to get what he wants. It was a georgious day, 67 degrees. The kids played outside most of the day. I caught up on laundry and watched them out the back screen door. They talked through the fence to the neighbor girl most of the time. Between loads of laundry, I went out and pushed the kids on the swings. When daddy got home from work, we loaded the kids bikes in the van and headed to the school playground. There is a paved path around the playground that the kids enjoyed riding around. They also had fun playing on the slides. It started getting pretty windy, so Bruce fgot his kite out. The kids loved watching him fly it. We packed snacks and drinks and the kids and I sat on the curb to eat them. I also fed Jack a bottle of juice while we sat there. He drank the whole four ounces. We got back home and I played outside with the kids while Bruce made tacos for dinner. The neighbor kids came over to play too. It was already 7:oo, before we got to eat. When we were done eating, I gave all the kids baths and then got them ready for bed. Jack screamed the whole time, but I think he was just really tired because he missed his evening nap and it was already his bedtime. Haley and Max had fun making castles with the foam blocks in the tub and then knocking them down.
