This morning, Max piled all the couch pillows on the chair. Then he grabbed a bunch of books and climbed up to read them.

While Max was playing with the foam blocks, he called me over, excited to show me that he had made "daddy's work". He showed me the "manhole" that he had made by stacking a couple of the square blocks with holes through them. He'd lean over looking into the hole saying "Oh, dere's dirty water in dere."

He said "See, I make a manhole and daddy gotta go in dere." He got his little motorcycle guy to put down in the hole, pretending it was daddy working.

He also liked driving his car over the "bridge" he made.

Hailey and Max riding their roller coaster. They told me "It even has a upstairs!" They had some stuffed animals and dolls riding in some chairs on top.

They used the toy broom and the push toy for the safety bar, laying them across their laps.

Today we went to Pet Smart to buy some things for our new puppy. (We will be getting her in a couple days.) On the way there, Max said "I wanna get my new doggy, my wewo (yellow) doggy." (He's always saying he wants a yellow dog. And whenever we are discussing names for the puppy, he says he wants to name her "wewo". We told the kids they could each pick out one toy for the puppy. As soon as we walked in the store, Max siad "I want a wewo (yellow) one toy." And he ran and picked up the first yellow toy he saw, which was a little yellow duck. It was the perfect size for our little puppy, the smallest dog toy in the store. Hailey had a harder time deciding on which toy she wanted to get. She wanted to get a pink bunny toy but thought it might be a little too big for our puppy. She ended up deciding on a little teething toy. She said "Cause she will need this when she's getting her teeth, just like Jack." It was a beautiful day, spring jacket weather. When we got home, we enjoyed some time playing outside. The neighbor kids saw us out and came over to play too. The kids all had alot of fun playing together, swinging and going down the slide.
