As soon as Max woke up this morning, he started lining things up to make a long train in the living room. He was having lots of fun pretending to drive the train and load things onto it. When Hailey woke up and saw it, she moved a few things off one of the pillows and sat on it so she could ride too. Max didn't like that she just threw his "load" off the train and asked her to get off. Since she still wouldn't get off after he had asked her to, he called to me and said "Mommy, can you take Haywee to school?" It wasn't a school day. He just wanted her gone so he could play by himself. She wasn't trying to mess his train or throw his load off. He just had it piled so high with stuff she had to move some of it to find a spot to sit on the train. They argued about it for a few minutes and then somehow worked it out and were happily playing and riding the train together. Hailey even talked Max into letting all her dolls ride on the train, and she had him getting all his stuffed animals from his bedroom too. They loaded the train with all their "passengers" and took turns sitting in the front to drive the train. They had fun playing this all morning until lunchtime. After the kids ate a quick lunch, grilled cheese sandwiches, it was time to take them over to the neighbor's house. (Connie was watching them while we went to a funeral, my Great Aunt Viola passed away. We took Jack with us.) During the funeral service, Jack was acing very silly, throwing his head back to bump into Papa's arm. Then he'd smile and do it again. We had lunch afterwards and had a nice visit with family. When we got back, Connie said that Hailey talked to her the whole time (She didn't even stop to play). She said that they had many conversations. Hailey told her that "she had to get our phone number so we can still visit when we move to a new house". Nana and Papa came over to visit on their way home from the funeral. Papa sure had Hailey and Max laughing hard as he would catch them and tickle them when they walked up to him.
