All the kids loved trying on Papa's hats.

Around 5:00 this evening, we left to meet family for the fireworks display. Melissa (a family friend) and also came with her two kids, Eve and Gage. It wasn't long before Eve and Hailey were playing together. Hailey kept saying she was her best friend. The kids all had fun playing with the bubbles, jump ropes, balls, and cars we brought for them. They also liked trying on Papa's hats. Max started to get hungry and asked me for something to eat. I told him that I would get him some chips thinking he would want what Hailey was eating. But he said "No, I don't want chips. I want a salad." He was upset when I told him we didn't have any salad. He sure loves his veggies. Rich and Jane (friends from church) came and sat with us too. Max really liked Rich and kept climbing on his lap and talking to him. The kids really liked watching the sky divers jump from the airplanes. As it started to get dark, we got out the light up toys for them to play with. Max started out sitting on Rich's lap when the fireworks started. Hailey and Eve sat on the blanket by us and were giggling the whole time. Hailey wasn't at all scared of the noise this time and she really enjoyed them. Max came over to sit by us on the blanket. He really cheered and clapped alot during them. It was an awesome sh0w. We giot stuck in traffic and didn't get home until 12:30. The kids fell asleep in the van and stayed asleep as we carried them to their beds.
