And here are a few pictures that I took today. We will be leaving tomorrow for camping and won't be back until Saturday.

Max woke up early, around 7:30, this morning. Right away he asked to hold the baby, but Jack was still sleeping. I tried to get Max to lay down with me, but he didn't want to. He heard the garbage truck and lifted the shade a little bit so he could peek out the window. Then we went out to the couch and watched his tractor movie. Hailey woke up around 8:30. She wanted to watch Clifford, and by then Max was down playing with his cars. We ate breakfast after Clifford was over. Jack woke up around 9:30. Hailey and Max both asked to hold him when I brought him out to the living room. I made sandwiches for lunch and we took them outside to eat them. Then Hailey and Max played with the kitchen set in their playhouse. They played that for an hour and then I took them in for naps. Max and Jack slept for a couple hours, and I had Hailey take a rest too since she was up so late last night. She didn't fall asleep but layed down for an hour. I got some more packing done while they were napping. Max woke up very grouchy, but after eating a snack he was happy again. Nana came and picked up the kids to take them to McDonald's. Bruce and I got alot done while they were gone. Bruce went and got all the shopping done, and I got all the kids suitcases packed. The kids had fun playing at McDonald's. They came back happy and excited to tell me about their fun time.

Hailey woke up early, around 7:15 this morning, and crawled in bed with me. I was feeding Jack and she cuddled up next to us and rubbed his head. She asked to hold him as soon as he was done nursing. I let her hold him for a few minutes before laying him back down in his bassinet. We stayed in bed until Max woke up around 8:00. Max and Hailey played in their bedrooms while I got laundry done and cleaned the house. Shortly after Bruce got home from work, his parents showed up. Hailey had been asking me all day when they were going to get here. And any time she heard a car, she would run to her bedroom window to see if they were here yet. She was so excited to get to see them. Hailey and Max really liked their bags of goodies that Grandma Brenda and Papa Dan brought for them. Max had fun playing cars with Papa Dan, and Hailey loved playing dollhouse with Jessie. We went to Bob Even's for dinner, and then came back to our house to visit some more. Daddy and Papa Dan took the kids outside to play. They had lots of fun getting pushed on the swings. It was way past Max's bedtime when they came in. Right away he got his blankie and asked for his milk. He picked out a book and took it to Papa Dan, and then crawled up on his lap and asked him to read it to him.

Jack had his first bottle today. Daddy fed him first and then let Hailey have a turn. She was so happy to finally get to feed him a bottle. He did pretty good with the bottle. We tried a few different nipples before finding the kind he likes. This evening, we went over to grandpa's to visit and pick the garden. When we got there, Max started looking around and asked "Where Aunt Jodie? Is she hiding?" When I told him she wasn't there, he kept asking why and saying he wanted to see her. On the way home, we stopped at Meijer for a few things. There was a large white van parked next to us. When Max saw it, he said "Dat a huge big ban. Really super lots of peoples can drive in dat."
Jack- 1 week old
Jack is a very content baby. Everything is going great, and the kids just love their baby brother.

Hailey put the teddy bear that she had gotton for Jack by him and then Max ran and got the rest of Jack's stuffed animals and they piled those all around him too.
Max fixing his car "wheels". Ever since daddy took him with him to the "wheel store" to get the tire fixed, he has been getting four coins from his toy piggy bank and pretends they are wheels for his car. Then he pretends to fix his car wheels and leans the coins against his car.
Hailey making her chips and cheese.
Bruce went back to work today. He took a week off after the baby was born, and this was his first day back. The day went pretty well. The kids were very good and baby Jack is so content. He hardly ever cries. I usually have to wake him to feed him. While Max and Jack took their naps, Hailey and I colored and practiced writing letters. Then she asked me if she could put some makeup and nail polish on so she could look pretty. She got out her chapsticks and face glitter. Then I painted her nails for her. I also worked alot today on getting things ready for camping. When Bruce got home, we took the kids outside to play. Our neighbor came over and pushed Hailey and Max on the swings. They were laughing so hard. Then we took the baby over to see Connie. While we were over there, a firetruck came to the house across the street. Connie had called the police because they were burning their garbage. She told them they didn't need to send the fire department but they did anyway. The kids sure liked watching it though. We stayed out until the firetruck left and then went inside to get the kids ready for bed.
