Hailey is dancing with the video of her dance class, and Max is copying her. This dance is called the Rock n Roll, and it's one of her favorites. It is kind of dark though so you can't see Hailey too well. I don't know why the videos always turn out so much darker on the blog.

We had the alarm set this morning for church, but Max woke us up early. Hailey went in her sunday school class by herself, and she did really well today. I had my mom drop Hailey off on her way to teach her class. She went right in and didn't cry. When service was over, we saw her playing in her class while we waited for them to finish up. She was excited to see us when the door opened. She ran up to us and showed us her pictures she made. And she also showed us her sticker on her shirt telling that she said her Bible verse. She was very proud of herself for staying by herself in her class today. When I picked up Max from the nursery, he got very excited and said "I wan cookie". While I was carrying him, I asked him if he wanted to walk (I meant get down and walk) and he said "No, I wanna run". He sure was in a hurry to get some cookies. They always have cookies for everyone after service. We came home for lunch, and then went over to grandpa's house. He was in the garden when we got there. So we went back to see him, and Max was very excited. He ran up to him and said "hi gampa". Bruce picked the last few things out of the garden and then pulled out the plants so it can be tilled. Then we went and sat on the porch with grandpa. Grandpa had me go in and get the kids some m&ms. We stayed and visited for a while, and then we had to leave to get to the store before Bruce had to go to work. Bruce helped me get everything in the house and then left to go to work. Hailey wanted to watch her dance class this evening so she could practice. She did all the dances and Max did some of them with her. I took a video of them, but I don't know if it turned out. i thought it looked a little dark. I'll try to put it on if it's not too dark on the blog. Sometimes the videos get a little darker when I post them on my blog. Hopefully it will turn out though cause it's really cute. Hailey told me all about her sunday school class when I was getting her ready for bed. She told me she played a really fun game called Follow Jesus. Then she showed me how to play it. It was kind of like Simon Says. We played it for a while, and then Bruce called from work. He wanted to say goodnight to the kids before they got in bed. Max was already sleeping though. He was so tired, so I put him to bed about 15 minutes early tongiht. Hailey was excited to talk to dadday. She loves it when he calls from work. He always calls to say goodnight to the kids when he is working second shift, and they both love it. She told him too all about the game she played in her class today. Then we finished with her bedtime routine. She stayed dry all night again last night, so she is wearing panies to bed again tonight. She is very excited about being such a big girl now. She told me she is going to tell Nana and Aunt Meme that next time she "spends tonight" not to put a pullup on her just panies. She always says spend "tonight" instead of "the night". It's so cute when she says to Nana "Can I spend tonight someday soon?"

This morning, my dad came over to help Bruce with the kitchen. The kids were happy to see Papa. Max kept asking "What Papa doin?" while they were working. I got out the little tatoos that the kids got in the goodie bags from Omi. I put the spider and pumkin tatoos on them, one on each hand. Max was very interested in what I was doing. He was so excited to see the spider on his hand. He liked the pumkin too, but he loves bugs so much I knew the spider would be his favorite. The kids started getting pretty grumpy after just a few hours of being awake this morning probably from being up late for the last three nights now. I think it's just finally catching up with them. Hailey was crying over every little thing. So we ate an earlier lunch, and then I put them both down for a much needed nap. Bruce had to leave for work but my dad stayed and continued working on the pipes in the kitchen. I took the kids outside to play for a while after they woke up from their naps. I gave them rides in the wagon and they played in the playhouse. They love the now stearing wheel. Hailey gets the chairs out of the playhouse and puts them in front of the stearing wheel and pretends it's her car. She tells Max to sit in the backseat and buckle up. Then she trades and has him drive while she sits in the back. They have so much fun with it. Then I pushed them on the swings for a little bit before we went in. When I got Max out of the swing, he had a spider hanging on a web off his coat. He thought it was neat and kept touching it. I let him even though I really hate spiders. When he was done playing with it, I got a stick and got it off of him before taking him in the house. My dad was just finishing up when we got in the house. He stayed and ate sloppy joes with us, and then stayed and watched the football game for a while. We all ate some candy out of the kids bags for desert. Max has been coming up to me saying "trick or treat" all day trying to get me to give him more candy. It's hard not to give it to him every time cause he says it so cute with a big smile on his face. When I tell him he has to wait, he just walks away and starts playing again. But when I do give him a piece he gets so happy and says "tanchew (thankyou)" right away. Tonight, he looked at his hands and said "night night spider, night night pumkin", and then he gave them each a kiss. Hailey had asked if she could wear big girl panies to bed a few nights ago. We told her that if her pullup was dry for three nights in a row, she could try it. She has been very good at trying to go on the potty right before she goes to bed and first thing when she wakes up in the morning, and her pullup has been dry every night. Tonight she reminded me that she didn't have to wear a pullup cause she had three dry pullups. So tonight we are letting her sleep with her panies. She was so excited. She went and picked out what pair she wanted to wear tonight. She was getting so wound up telling me about how big she is now. I had a hard time getting her to calm down for her bedtime routine. She had a hard time going to sleep tonight too. I don't know if it was cause she was so excited or if it was cause she had a nap today. But it took her over an hour to fall asleep.

I wanted to get Max saying trick or treat on video. He says it so cute. This was supposed to be all one video, but for some reason it got split into two. Oh well, at least I got the whole thing. I like how he always says thankyou after getting his candy. He also has a spider and pumkin tatoo on his hands, and he is saying that too.

Both Hailey and Max slept in til 9:00 this morning. That is really late for Max. He never sleeps past 8:30. Usually he gets up at least by 8:00. When Hailey was getting dressed this morning, she put on her panies and said "Look Mommy! Did I put them on rightwards and not backwards?" Lots of times she puts them on backwards and I help her turn them around. She was so proud of herself for putting on the right way. I thought it was fuuny how she said "rightwards". I met Kimmy at my mom's house, and then took the kids over to my grandpa's house in their costumes. It was too late by the time we left Omi's the other night. Grandpa really wanted to see them all dressed up, so we decided to take them over today before Hailey's dance class. The kids all ran up to him and said trick or treat. He passed out candy to each of them. It was cute to see them all standing around Grandpa. My Aunt Vikki also stopped in to see the kids, so we had a nice time visiting with her too. Kimmy and I had to leave to take Hailey to her dance class. My mom watched Max while we went. I took Hailey into her class today, and she did really good and didn't cry when I left her. The curtains were open today, so we got to watch the whole class. She did such a good job dancing. She was so happy that the curtains were open and she could see us. She would look back at us every once in a while and smile at us. It was so cute. We went back to my mom's house for dinner afterwards. She made roasted chicken, carrots, and potatoes. It was so good. then we had cookies for desert. The kids all had fun playing together. Before we left, Hailey asked Nana for an apple. Then when she finished eating it, she said to Nana "Can I have a snack now? The apple was a treat." So she got them a snack for the ride home. Even though it was late, Max just talked to me the whole ride home and also sang a couple songs on the CD we had playing. Hailey just about fell asleep and had her eyes closed when we pulled in the driveway. But when I layed her in her bed she got up and wanted to read her books. I didn't get them in bed till 10:30.

This video is kind of dark so you can't see Max, but I still thought it was cute of him talking. He is reading his Bible, and pointing to and saying the names of all the animals.

After breakfast, I sorted through all the candy. Hailey and Max sat right by me on the floor looking through their bags. They were getting all excited looking at what they got. Hailey kept pulling out pieces of candy and showing me saying "Oh, this is my favorite", and Max pulled out a sucker right away asking me to open it for him. They each picked out a couple peices to eat. Hailey thought it was great getting to eat candy in the morning. She said "We can eat candy in the morning today cause it's special". Max had fun filling the laundry basket with all the pumkins and gourds and then pushing it around the house. After pushing it around for a while, he got right in the basket with them.then he held each one up to show me. Bruce got alot done on the kitchen today. Our neighbor, Ken, cmae over this morning and offered to help. They got drywall up on a couple walls and also the ceiling. After Bruce finished for today, we called and asked my mom and dad if they wanted to go out with us for dinner. They said yes, so Bruce got cleaned up while I got the kids ready to go. While I was getting Max's shoes on, I asked him if he wanted to go see nana and papa. He said "Uh huh, I do, I do." It was cute how he said it and got all excited. We met them at the restaurant, and then we all went to the apple barn for cookies and treats. We had to go to the store to get a few things afterwards, so we didn't get home till 9:00. Max was so tired and it was way past his bedtime, so I tried skipping the books tonight. But when I sat down to rock him, he kept saying "book mommy" so I grabbed one that was on the floor right next to me. After reading it to him, I turned off the light thinking he wouldn't mind skipping his Bible tonight, but he said "I wan Bibo too, mommy" so I got his Bible and read that to him too. Then he went to bed really good as always. I guess he's starting to really care about his routine now just like Hailey does. It doesn't matter how late it, Hailey always has to do her whole bedtime routine (unless she falls asleep in the car and we actually get her into her bed without her waking up). When I asked Max what he did today, he said "nana, papa, eat".
