It was raining this morning when we woke up. Hailey and Max wanted to go outside with their umbrellas. After getting them dressed, I let them go out for a little bit. They loved splashing in the puddles and walking around with their umbrellas. I had to go to the dentist for a cleaning today, so I took Hailey back with me so she could watch. She got to sit in the chair and go for a ride after I was done. She also let them count her teeth while she was sitting there. We scheduled her first cleaning, so she'll be going in a couple weeks. She is very excited about getting her teeth polished. She asked lots of questions while I was getting my teeth cleaned. She talked alot the whole time. She really liked watching the squirrels and birds out the window too and thought it was funny when the squirrels started chasing each other. The baby was kicking so much that you could see my stomach moving. It had the dental hygenist laughing. I put Max down for his nap when we got home and I layed down and took one too. I didn't sleep well at all last night. Bruce and Hailey went to the store while we were napping. It rained most of the day today. Max and I woke up to some pretty loud thunder. He started crying and when I went to get him, he said "It rainin and punder in mine room." I brought him out sit with me on the couch and watch the lighting out the window. When I asked him if he saw the lightning, he said "Oh no, Light Nckeen outside! It rain and punder on da wacecar!" I don't think he knew what I meant by lightning. He just thinks it's thunder and thought I was talking about Lightning McQueen when I said lightning. Daddy and Hailey got back shortly after we woke up. He worked some more on the utility room. The kids played with the rice until dinnertime. After dinner, daddy played on the floor with the kids until bedtime. While I got Max ready for bed, Hailey sat at the table and colored and cut up pieces of paper. Bruce layed down to take a nap before he has to leave for work tonight. He's starting his midnight shift this week.

A FUN DAY AT THE FARM!

We went to church this morning. Hailey did great in her class and even stayed by herself. When we picked her up, she was sitting at the table doing a craft. She looked like she was having fun. Her teacher said she did excelent. After church, while Bruce and I were visiting with people, Hailey saw Abigail and ran up to her and started playing with her. They played for a long time. Max followed behind them trying to keep up while they were walking between all the chairs. We asked Abigail if she would want to come over and play at Hailey's house sometime. Hailey heard us and said "It's fun at my house. You can even play with my dollhouse." We would like to get them together for a playdate sometime. After church, we came home for lunch and then headed over to Kimmy's house to see the new baby chicks. Jacob and Max really loved holding the chicks. Hailey held them once but after it started wiggling in her hands, she just wanted to pet them. Max kept hugging and kissing them. After seeing the chickens, we went over to see Sammy. Hailey and Max loved petting him and feeding him out of their hands. Hailey's is getting much more brave around the horses now. She will even walk right up to him and reach up to pet his head. She used to be scared even when we were holding her by them. Max has never been afraid to pet them. We sat Max up on Sammy's back and he was a little afraid up there though. He kept saying "I all done" but then would start petting him for a minute before saying he was done again. He just wasn't too sure about being up on such a big horse. He really liked seeing the tractor in the barn too. The kids all played outside for a little bit before we headed back inside. Kimmy cut Max's hair when we went in. He did much better this time. He mostly just sat there and played with some of Jacob's cars and tractors at the table the whole time. He just cried a little when she cut around his ears. And a few times he would say "I all done" and want to get down. But then he would just go back to playing when we told him he had to stay. My dad also stopped by to visit on his way home from doing a funeral. When he walked in Max said "Papa, I gettin a haircut". I showed him in the mirror when he was done, and he kept smiling at himself in the mirror and feeling his hair. He looks so cute. Kimmy does such a good job. We had an appointment to go look at a house so Kimmy watched the kids for us while we went. When we got back, the kids were all sitting on the stools at the counter drinking hot chocolate to warm up after going outside to help feed the animals. Max only got a short nap on the way over today, so he ran to Jacob's bedroom and got Jacob's elephant (Max has one just like it and sleeps with it every night). Then he came to me and said "I wanna go night night in da bed" pointing to Adam's crib. He was so tired. He fell asleep on the way home and stayed asleep when I layed him down. Hailey was very excited to tell me all about her fun day today when we did "what to do today" as she calls it. I love how she always says "I wanna do what to do today." She says it so cute. She told me all about her class and playing with Abigail at church and about her fun time at Aunt Meme's house. It sounded like she had the best day ever. She went on and on and on. It was 10:00 by the time we turned out the lights.

This is pretty much where Max spends most of his time the last few days. He likes sit in the chair and watch daddy working in the utility room. He also likes have his tool bench right there to play with. He copies daddy and uses the same tools as he's using. And when daddy sets his drill on the cupboard, he sets his up there the same way right next to daddy's.

These are some pictures that Vikki took while we were at mom's house today. I thought they turned out really cute.

This morning, Hailey woke up around 7:30 and woke Kenzie up and asked her to get up and play. Kenzie didn't want to get up that early so Hailey came to our bedroom and crawled in bed with us until 8:00. After eating breakfast, Hailey and Kenzie made some pictures with the stickers and felt sheets that Hailey got yesterday. When Vikki came to pick Kenzie up, I got the kids ready and went to mom's to do laundry. I started a load, and then we ate lunch before heading up to the hospital to see grandpa. We stopped at Grandpa's house on the way to let Taylor out. I stayed in the van with the kids while mom went in. I noticed one of the van doors wasn't shut tight, so I got out to shut it. When I came back in the van and got my seatbelt back on, Max said "Mommy, don't drive. I wanna go tee Gampa. Don't drive mommy. Ok? I just wanna tee Gampa." When we got to the hospital, the kids were very happy to see Grandpa. Max played by Grandpa's bed showing him all his little toys he had brought. Grandpa looked really good and said he was feeling alot better today. They are keeping him for at least one more night. They are still waiting for some results to some of the tests he had done. After visiting Grandpa for awhile, we went back to my mom's house to do more laundry. Hailey and I played doctor and babies while Max took a nap. When he woke up, I put the Cars movie in and Max was so excited. He kept saying "I watch Light Nckeen". Papa came home while we were watching it. When he sat down on the couch, Max crawled up on his lap and cuddled with him. We didn't get back home until 7:3o. We ate pizza with Daddy, and then I got the kids ready for bed.
